Drumpf's Lies About Reflecting Pool Vandalism Unsurprisingly Blow Up in His Lying Face

"Federal prosecutors on Friday asked a judge to dismiss an indictment charging former U.S. Olympic canoeist David Hearn with ripping up the bottom of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, citing new information that the damage was caused by a "botched installation" by a contractor, not vandalism.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C. had charged Hearn with felony destruction of government property, accusing him of causing more than $1,000 in damage to the sealant that was recently installed at the bottom of the Reflecting Pool. The project to renovate the pool was championed by President Trump.

Attorneys for Hearn — who strongly denied the vandalism allegations — said in a statement the government "owes Mr. Hearn an apology."

"The Trump administration's case against Davey Hearn should have never been brought," attorneys Norm Eisen, Mary Dohrmann and Steve Levin said. "Its dismissal today does not erase the abuse of government power in arresting and charging a patriotic American who did nothing wrong. The government's approach was ready, fire, aim.""

 

As all sane Americans knew it to be - our fabulist-in-chief was just lying through his fake teeth about stealth Antifa ninjas with box cutters making their way into the DC Reflecting Pool in the dark of night wielding heavy duty box cutters which they used to slice football field long "gashes" in the beautiful blue rubber liner that Donny ordered installed because he wanted the water in the Reflecting Pool to look as blue as the swimming pool at his Mar-a-Lardass Porn Resort and Shitty Golf Motel in Florida.

And of course the culprit turns out to be a shoddy $6.9 million installation of the reflecting pool rubber liner by DonOld's no-bid, pool contractor buddy who hangs out with him at Mar-a-Lardass.

And then, dumbass Drumpf drove his whole presidential motorcade onto the material before it had a chance to completely dry and cure which probably did not help the shoddy workmanship.

I mean, JfC, what more will it take for people to realize he's a demented con artist?

I hope Davey Hearn sues these bastards for malicious prosecution.
