American Republicans Do Cruelty Just as Well as Any Foreign Dictatorship

"A federal judge on Thursday denied a request by more than two dozen Democratic states to halt a Trump administration policy announced last month that would require Medicaid recipients with terminal diseases to prove they are too sick to work in order to be exempt from new work requirements that go into effect this coming January.

While introducing over $1 trillion in tax cuts for the wealthiest 1% of Americans, last year’s massive GOP tax and budget bill also imposed new 80-hour-per-month work requirements that states must implement for Medicaid expansion recipients, who receive government-subsidized insurance coverage at or below 138% of the poverty line.

Earlier this month, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) introduced a new rule stating that even if a person receives a terminal diagnosis for a disease like cancer, HIV/AIDS, or Parkinson’s, that is still not enough for them to be exempt from the work requirements."   

 

Imagine being diagnosed with a terminal illness and told that you have months to live and your MAGA government tells you that in order to qualify for Medicare or Medicaid support to help you and your family cope financially in the last remaining months of your life, that you need to prove to them that going to work every day while you are in the process of dying is too much of a burden.

I mean . . .ffs.  How do we claim to be a good country of good people when we do shit like this to our own citizenry?

I cannot fathom such malicious and mean thinking by authentically decent people.  But then again, MAGA are not authentically decent people, are they?.  They are cruel, selfish, ignorant, arrogant, and completely uncaring citizens, and I am utterly ashamed to call them my fellow Americans.

Think of it - trillion$ in free money for billionaires.  For dying Americans - orders to get your ass back to work.

Yeah - it's way past time to reign in these bastards.  America is headed for a guillotine revolution if shit like this is allowed to continue.

Please vote accordingly come November.  Vote AGAINST every Republican on the ballot like your lives depend on it.  Because in reality, many of your lives do indeed depend on throwing these malignant Republican shitheads out of power.
