I would love to hear a self-professed believer in Christ who still supports DonOld Drumpf coherently and morally justify Drumpf's edict to defund a program that helps keep American pre-schoolers above the poverty line in order to pay for his Iran war boondoggle, and to give more tax cuts and government contracts to crooked donor scumbags like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg:

"The Trump administration's threat to a program meant to pull kids out of poverty is alarming advocates, the New York Times reported.
According to reporting by The Times, the Trump administration is teeing up a "major rollback" of the federal requirements for Head Start, an early education and antipoverty program created in 1965. Advocates and experts told The Times that the rollback threatens to upend the 60-year-old program.
Ruth Friedman, a child care policy expert, told The Times that the proposed changes to Head Start are a "massive gutting." The Times noted that the program currently serves about 700,000 kids under the age of 6 and has served more than 30 million children since 1965."
They are going to gut Head Start, just like they intend to gut Medicaid, Medicare, and allow Social Security to fail.
They are going to do this to these programs at the same time they are asking Congress to give Pete Kegseth's mismanaged and corrupt Defense Department $67 Billion MORE for the Iran war boondoggle, and $1.5 Trillion MORE of your tax money (yes - Trillion, not Billion) for his mismanaged Defense Department.
Because you know, giving $1.5 Trillion of extra cash to the guys who ignored the advice of every single credible and reputable US military and Intl expert to NOT go to war with Iran, and who are now actively hiding the true cost of the war in both taxpayer money and American service members lives from the public to spend is a really responsible thing to do, amiright?
Drumpf and his apparatchiks are also trying to push American kids back in to poverty while simultaneously attempting to establish a nearly $2 Billion slush fund to pay off Drumpf's convicted felon MAGA cronies who heeded his call to violently attack the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 in a failed bid to overthrow the legitimate results of a US presidential election and install and unelected, criminal usurper in office.
These 1600+ thugs were the ones who heeded Drumpf's insurrectionist call to storm the US Capitol, violently attacking law enforcement officers and storming their way into the Capitol building and trashing it. Every one of these guys was rightly charged and tried in American courtrooms, in front of American juries and judges. Most pled guilty to their crimes. The rest were found guilty after trials.
So yeah, Trillions and Billions for wars and criminal crony slush funds, but no money to keep American kids from falling into poverty.
If this is what Republican's concept of what their version of Jesus would do, then their version of Jesus is a version I would prefer not to be exposed to.
