It's telling that Drumpf and the corrupt Republicans would manufacture a scary bogey man enemy like 'antifa' to frighten uninformed (and just plain stupid) Americans with tall tales of a communists taking over the country who are going to send Ma and Pa MAGA off to reeducation camps.
"The first thing to understand about antifa is that it is not real. Yes, as a journalist, I’m obligated to offer some throat-clearing nuance: There is a thing called antifa that has existed for a long time, in the sense that there have long been leftists who fight fascism with tactics like outing, public shaming and a very occasional fist to the Nazi nose. But antifa, at least as imagined by President Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters, simply does not exist.
The president recently signed an executive order declaring antifa a “domestic terrorist organization,” which is not a legal designation. His memo was so thick with lies that it would take a week to debunk them all. Antifa is not “a militarist, anarchist enterprise,” nor does it use “illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism.” It doesn’t “conceal its funding sources and operations,” and it certainly isn’t involved in “spreading, fomenting, and advancing political violence and suppressing lawful political speech.”"
Drumpf pardoned ALL 1600 of the January 6th domestic terrorists. These were the people who at Drumpf's request attacked the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, viciously beat police, sending hundreds to the hospital, and terrorized lawmakers and their families. That attack from DonOld's stormtroopers resulted in the deaths of six people, including two police officers. By all decency and righteousness standards, Drumpf should have faced felony manslaughter charges for his actions that day in instigating his mob of followers to violence.
So essentially, the convicted felon POTUS who pardoned 1600 domestic terrorists, many of them violent, is signing executive orders designating an idea which is in diametric opposition to his brand of fascism as a "domestic terrorist organization," and it is nothing but a front to cover up the lawlessness of his own criminal regime and their unconstitutional and illegal behavior.
'Antifa' has no infrastructure like 'The Proud Boys,' 'Oath Keepers,' or 'Three Percenters.' 'Antifa' has no leadership structure like those fascist organizations. Aside from being against fascism and fascists, 'Antifa' has no known political manifesto like the above mentioned groups do. And it goes without saying that 'Antifa' has never employed physical violence against it's political opponents or our government like the right-wing groups have.
Republicans crying 'ANTIFA!' at every perceived slight against their party's corruption and malfeasance because they have no defense when it comes to the actual truth.
