Back in July when Drumpf first broached the subject of building his big, beautifully garish schmooze room, er, I mean ballroom, he said it would be an addition to the White House grounds and that no other structures would be touched.
And of course, what did the arrogant old mobster do? Without saying anything to anyone, without seeking the Congressional approval by law the he should have sought, and without allowing the American people to have a say in the matter, the greasy old gangster brought in heavy machinery this past week and started tearing down the historic East Wing of the American people's White House.
In the place of this historic building, he is going to erect a mirror image monstrosity of the tawdry "ballroom" at his south Florida shitty golf motel and mob hangout. And to add insult to catastrophic injury, the size of King DonOld's glitzy new ballroom purportedly dwarfs the actual White House in size.

I cannot begin to fathom the ear-piercing shrieks of wild-eyed outrage and fevered embitterment we would have heard from these Republicans and conservatives had either Barack Obama or Joe Biden just up and decided one day to bring in a wrecking crew and start demolishing a historic White House landmark like the East Wing in order to erect a quarter billion dollar gold-laced ballroom in honor of themselves at a time when millions of Americans are struggling to keep up with the rising costs of just about everything.
And the silence from Drumpf voters as he commits this atrocity is telling. To me it signifies their morally bankrupt complicity in his wanton destructiveness of our shared American institutions, the hallowing out of those institutions, and the selling them off piecemeal to his crooked billionaire friends. It demonstrates pretty clearly that they really don't give a shit about the future of this country at all - just like their orange savior.
