This cartoon effectively conveys the totality of Drumpf's message to the American people, as well as to other aspiring democracies around the world on this 250th anniversary of America's own representative democracy:
His ICE soldiers are still running around liked masked death squad goons kidnapping people off the streets, from their places of business, their job sites, their homes, and even their places of worship.
He is installing unqualified lickspittle henchmen (Bill Pulte and Todd Blanche for ie.) in positions of critical national security and DOJ leadership positions for the sole purpose of targeting and persecuting his enemies and detractors.
He is in current defiance of the will of the American people, the US Congress, and the law by refusing to release the remaining 3+ million documents from the 'Epstein Files' investigation, files which so far have revealed the mention of DonOld Drumpf's name more than anyone else's name except Epstein himself.
He is in the process of surrendering to Iran in the war that he and Bibi Netanyahu started and that surrender is going to cost the American people dearly.
He hijacked most of the funding for the official America 250 org for his own shoddy 'Freedom 250' festival in D.C. this week which has been a spectacularly embarrassing failure with practically non-existent attendance by the public.
So yeah, it is completely understandable that many people have a somewhat jaded view of celebrating 250 years of America's existence at a time when a budding dictator is trying to tear down everything good which that 250 year-old democracy stands for, and he is trying to do it from the inside of the the very White House that is supposed to be the seat of that democracy.
