I frequently hear this refrain from some on the left side of the aisle that we dirty fucking hippie liberal Democrats should be more forgiving of the few MAGA voters who are beginning to have buyer's remorse about Drumpf, and that we should be more understanding and accommodating of their views in grateful anticipation of them outright rejecting Drumpf and rejoining humanity.
Here's the problem with that - most of the MAGA believers might bitch and moan about specific things Drumpf has done that may have impacted them directly, but ultimately it is never enough for them to completely refute their overall allegiance to the racist old, mobbed-up kiddie diddler, much less sever their emotional and spiritual support umbilical cord to him.
I mean - Drumpf's base still supports him even after they found out from the 3.2 million 'Epstein Files' documents that were released that DonOld's name appears in a third of those documents (more than a million), which is more than any other human on the planet besides Epstein himself. And that they still support him even after he brazenly misuses and abuses the powers of his presidency and of the DOJ to cover up the remaining three million documents in their possession and keep them hidden from public view.
But seriously, sometimes you have to just stand in slack-jawed awe at the obtuseness of DonOld's supporters and apologists as they wrestle with the conundrum of, on one hand being hurt personally by his governing policies and the slowly swelling economic fallout from his foolish decision to take the country to war in Iran and being 'frustrated' at his brazen corruption, yet still loving and adoring him for his racism, his misogyny, his vulgarity, and his fascism:

Yeah - we remember what they did to Hunter Biden, don't we? Five years of public investigations and in the end what did the Republicans get on the younger Biden? That he lied on a gun purchase form about his past drug use and accepted an interest-free, undeclared loan of $8000 from his father to purchase a new vehicle.

I mean -- do MAGA people grok the concept of 'contrast' and the divergent degrees of contrast?
Joe Biden giving his son an eight-thousand dollar interest free loan to buy a new pick-up truck, and the younger Biden's past drug habits warranted five years of GOP-led public congressional hearings at taxpayer expense.
Donald Trump has raked in more than $2.2 BILLION in his first year back in office. He is steering government contracts toward startup companies tied to his crooked sons and their foreign dealings. His daughter and son-in-law are eyeballs deep in Arab world money corruption.
Has anyone heard a peep from the same Republicans in control of Congress who opted to spend five years investigating Hunter Biden about looking into any aspect of the shady crypto, bitcoin, Arab money dealings swamp that Drumpf and his family are immersed in?
No, not so much as a whisper, which is why I just laugh when I hear and see these Republican chuds on my TV talking about law and order and justice and concepts like honesty and decency. GTFOH.
And you really do have to laugh because the godawful, mind-numbing reality is that the Republican/conservative/MAGA leader is a failed businessman, a failed reality TV show host, a serial adulterer, a serial sexual assaulter, an adjudicated rapist, a suspected child rapist, a convicted felon, impeached twice for corruption and for inciting insurrection, and as we are now seeing, someone who is willing to openly use the office of the US presidency to massively enrich himself and his parasitic family at a time when the American people are being ravaged by his own economic policy and governing failures.
So what I am trying to say in a roundabout way here is that there should be no sympathy or empathy for 'some' these MAGAs who are suddenly whining about Drumpf's blatant corruption and self-dealing from the inner sanctum of the White House.
These people don't get to cherry-pick the parts of Drumpf's corruption and immorality to renounce any more - its all or nothing.
