"Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday appointed state Rep. Mike Caruso as Palm Beach County clerk of the circuit court and comptroller.

“Very excited. Very honored that the governor has the confidence in me to take on this role,” Caruso said in a phone interview. “Here’s a great opportunity. I think my background lines up perfectly with it.”

Caruso said he will be sworn in early Tuesday morning, then swear in the deputy clerks in time for the county’s daily court business to proceed uninterrupted.

DeSantis was widely expected to name Caruso, one of his staunchest allies in the Legislature. The governor has called Caruso “the legend” and praised him for standing up to political pressure."

Link:  Mike Caruso denied bond on child sex abuse charges

 

"Mike Caruso, the suspended Palm Beach County clerk of courts who was arrested on child sexual abuse charges on Tuesday, made his first appearance in court on Wednesday morning.

Wearing prison garb and shackles and represented by attorney Jason Weiss, he briefly appeared before Circuit Judge Donald Hafele to hear the charges. Hafele denied Caruso bail, stating that the allegations are a “no bond matter.”

By Wednesday evening, Caruso had been extradited to Orange County in Central Florida and is being held in the jail there without bond.

He is facing five felony counts related to the abuse of a young family member: kidnapping, lewd or lascivious molestation, lewd or lascivious exhibition, luring or enticing a child, and child abuse (mental injury). The sexual abuse began in 2024 and continued until at least August 2025, according to a probable cause affidavit."

  

Apparently it was his own grandson he was molesting and raping. 😮

Umm. . . I just . . . I just can't with these bastards... I just can't.

Anyway, this story is a good opportunity to remind everyone that Toad Blanche and DonOld Drumpf are still deliberately and illegally withholding more than three million documents from Jeffrey Epstein's child rape and child sex trafficking investigation that by law they were supposed to have released last November to Congress and the American public, in their unredacted entirety.

Btw, these would be the very files where reportedly Donald Trump's name appears more than anyone else's name other than Jeffrey Epstein himself. 😶
