These dirty old Republican men, just like their party leader, just can't seem to keep their groping little hands off of girls and young women who aren't their daughters and wives:

"Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-NC) dropped his reelection bid after a House ethics panel found he had repeatedly visited a female staffer's home and lavished her with unsolicited gifts and attention.
The bipartisan House Ethics Committee released its report Monday, finding Edwards had engaged in persistent inappropriate conduct toward two young female staffers — including showing up at one woman's home to do chores, escort her to events, and spend personal time with her.
"After much prayer and reflection, I’ve decided to withdraw from my re-election campaign," Edwards wrote on X early Wednesday morning."
It's interesting how these GOP creeps never seem to have found time for "prayer and reflection" PRIOR to committing their sex offenses, isn't it?
There really is an epidemic of sleaze in the right wing conservative movement in this country and is it really any surprise when the leader of that movement is a serial sex offender himself, an adjudicated rapist, and a suspected child rapist?
"The party of family values" was always just a cheap, throw-away political mantra misused by the Republican party as a cynical way for their political candidates to give halfhearted lip service to the concept of 'family' and 'moral' values without actually practicing or adhering to any of those 'values' themselves.
And the ultimate proof of that statement is the money-laundering, convicted felon who is STILL currently squatting in the American people's White House and covering up a massive pedophile ring that he was at the center of.
