The Republican Party is Coming For Your Social Security and Medicare and Aren't Being Shy About It

Old George Carlin was right about the oligarchs coming for it all.  I doubt he thought it would happen as quickly as it has though:

 

 

Carlin was prescient about a lot shit that has since come to pass in this country.  He certainly nailed the, "they're coming for your Social Security next" prediction, didn't he? 

 

 

"One of the least remarked-upon chapters in the Republicans’ ghastly Project 2025 document dealt with their plan to cut Social Security and Medicare, ostensibly to fix the impending trust fund shortfall and eliminate the national deficit all at once. The reason hardly anyone talked about it is that if there’s one thing we know about Republicans, from the so-called moderates to the most extreme MAGA true believers, it’s that they want to do away with those commie pinko programs once and for all.

But there’s a problem: Nearly all Americans depend on those commie pinko programs to some extent, including many Republican voters. I would strongly advise my fellow elders and those who love and care for their elders and anyone who depends on, or will depend on Social Security and Medicare to provide some modicum of dignified life in their retirement, to show up at the ballot box come Hell or high water in every election between now and November, and forever thereafter for that matter, and REFUSE to vote for any candidate with the letter (R) after their names.  Write in your favorite cartoon character or pet's name if you can't stomach voting for a Democrat or an Independent, just don't vote for a Trumpublican.

That is the quickest route to fixing the mess that these buffoon Trumpublicans have gotten this country into.

Kick these inept, fascist bums out of office.

Hold them accountable for the high crimes and misdemeanors committed by this White House since the beginning of this execrable, corrupt term.

Put this nation back on the path to solvency, sanity, competency, and decency.
