MAGA Republicans in Congress, apparently with nothing better to do with their taxpayer salaried time, spent the day and millions more in US taxpayer money dragging Dr. Anthony Fauci into a Congressional hearing in a lame and shameful political stunt for the sole purpose of slandering and smearing Fauci and to blame him for Donald Trump's bumbling, deadly mishandling of the Covid pandemic:

I'm just going to come right out and say it. Thank God Dr. Fauci was in Drumpf's administration when Covid hit. Drumpf was listening to the crazies on the right who kept telling him to let the virus burn through the populace, infecting everyone in order to reach some mythical level of "herd immunity" that would magically end the pandemic.
Actual medical science experts who are worth listening to are in consensus that if Drumpf had allowed this insane idea of 'herd immunity' to drive his administration's response to the crisis, the death toll to Americans would have been in the 3-5 million range instead of the 1.2 million who died on Drumpf's watch.
Even Drumpf's then Covid 'czar', Dr. Deborah Birx said that if there had been competent leadership in the White House when the existence of Covid became known, the US would not have experienced nearly as many deaths as it did.
But yeah, it's pretty humorous that the MAGA chuds are now screaming like banshees for Dr. Fauci's arrest and imprisonment for exercising his constitutional right to not answer questions from corrupt and tainted government accusers:

It gets even more humorous when you point out to these brain-dead chuds that their golden boy DonOld is the King of 5th Amendment invoking when he's under oath. In fact, here's video of DonOld not only taking the 5th amendment more than 400 times in just one of his lawsuits, but also encouraging others to do so when caught in similar circumstances:

Dr. Fauci was facing a hostile group of MAGA Republicans who were cynically and dishonestly trying to re-write history and hang the US tragedy of Covid around his neck and exonerate their incompetent buffoon party leader who was the person at the top making ALL of the Covid response decisions at the time.
So yeah, I am 1000% okay with Fauci telling Rand Paul and his Kangaroo court to go fuck themselves. And I hope these dumbass Republicans keep bringing the Covid stuff up before the election. More Americans than not are fully aware of which party and which chief executive is primarily to blame for 1.2 million dead Americans and a nation left traumatized from that pandemic.
