Drumpf Chases Election Fraud Ghosts as The Nation Sinks Lower into the Abyss

As expected, DonOld Drumpf gave a partially televised speech to the nation last night.

I say 'partially' as the only two major networks to air the speech were CBS which is owned by the Israel-connected billionaire Ellison family, and of course Rupert Murdoch's propaganda clearinghouse, Fox News.

 ABC and NBC rightly refused to broadcast his lies and they should be commended for it.

As those who know what Drumpf is all about predicted, all he did was rehash his same, tiresome 2020 elections lies and bullshit that have gotten him and his 'Dream Team' legal team and other strip-mall lawyers laughed out of courts from coast to coast more than 65 times in the wake of that election as they failed miserably to prove that even one single vote had been illegally cast for Joe Biden, or illegally taken away from Donald Trump in that election:

"President Donald Trump, as widely predicted, used his primetime address on Thursday night to announce that China has been working to compromise U.S. elections.

While he insisted he was not seeking to undermine confidence in elections, the speech was clearly downstream of years of his assertions, without any evidence, that the 2020 presidential election was rigged against him.

Trump further announced that he will declassify a huge trove of documents about foreign election interference."

  

When Drumpf won in 2016, Democrats controlled the White House.

When Drumpf won in 2024, Democrats controlled the White House.

When Drumpf lost in 2020, he himself controlled the White House. 

So what Drumpf is essentially telling every American is that election fraud ONLY occurs when he loses, and it ONLY occurs when he and his party are in control of the White House.

DonOld also claimed that foreign "election interference" was rampant in American elections (once again, ONLY in elections he and MAGA lose) and that classified intelligence documents he intends to declassify will prove it.

I wonder if the intel that DonOld is threatening to declassify includes the intel which showed coordinated "election interference" having been committed by Putin and Russia, for Drumpf's benefit, with Drumpf's knowledge, in the 2016 election?  Somehow, I highly doubt it.

Ultimately, what DonOld's speech last night was really all about was sowing ever more conspiratorial mistrust, fear, and anger over our elections among his cult base in the run-up to this November's midterms, and peddling right-wing propaganda about the security and fairness of American elections to any unthinking American rube who is sufficiently foolish and dumb enough to believe him.
