If current polling is to be believed, and the numbers from the more reputable pollsters do seem to be in consensus at the moment, then the GOP is going to get drubbed in the November midterm elections and are likely going to lose control of both the House and Senate to the Democrats.
Part of the reason, aside from Drumpf himself, as to why most Americans are souring on the MAGA-hijacked Republican party is in large part due to asshole behavior like this from their members:

No, we absolutely do not "need to trust" a provably lying sack of shit like DonOld Drumpf when it comes to his plans for further American military involvement in Iran.
Drumpf didn't trust this country's high-level military and intel advisers when they told him that doing the Butch and Sundance thing with Bibi Netanyahu in Iran was a colossally fucking stupid idea.
DonOld didn't trust Congress, the American people's representatives enough to consult with them before launching American assets and troops alongside Netanyahu in Israel's religious war.
He didn't trust the American people enough to run the idea by them and ask for their views about involving the nation in a potential 'forever war.'
So why should it be mandatory for all of us to 'trust' Drumpf on Iran when he has willfully ignored the advice of wiser people on the matter, and completely ignored the views of Americans and their elected representatives in his decision-making process to take the country to war?
He hasn't earned that trust - at all.
These MAGA Republican reps who are wagging their fingers and warning us that if we don't like what Drumpf is doing in Iran that we should pack up and leave the country unmistakably shows them to be the anti-American, pro-authoritarian, cowardly skunks that they are, and it's shit like this that will be a big motivational factor for many voters to send MAGA a clear and unmistakable message in the voting booths this November.
