Just remember folks that when the economic pain referenced in this article arrives on your doorstep, on my doorstep, on all our doorsteps, and all indicators say it will, the individual in this country MOST responsible for that economic pain is going to be this colossally inept, arrogant, stupid, greedy, and corrupt old con man:

In the next couple of weeks, you will have to rationalize demand by more than during COVID,” Nuttall told Bloomberg on May 1. “This is by far the biggest energy crisis that anybody alive is experiencing. There remains a lot of apathy in the market, because I just don’t think people can wrap their heads around it.”
Nuttall’s prediction came amid the ongoing U.S.-Israeli war against Iran, a conflict that immediately saw the partial closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical shipping waterway through which a fifth of the world’s oil trade flows. Iran’s retaliatory strikes against Gulf States’ energy infrastructure have only further exacerbated fears of a looming energy crisis of historic proportions."
Drumpf ignored his own intel that said Iran was still years away from enriching enough uranium for a nuclear warhead. He ignored the advice of his military people that starting a war with Iran could have catastrophic consequences for exactly what we see happening right now in the Strait of Hormuz.
Drumpf ignored the advice of those American experts and chose to go with the advice of Israel's leader Benjamin Netanyahu instead, a guy who is under criminal indictment in his own country for corruption, is a wanted war criminal, and has had a throbbing hard-on for bombing Iran for more than four decades.
And here we are. And when that economic pain hits, it is going to hit middle America and the middle class and working poor the hardest and that includes quite a few of Drumpf-supporting MAGA folk.
And it goes withouth saying that Drumpf, being the blameless con artist he is will of course blame it on Obama. He will blame it on Biden. He will blame it on Democrats. He will blame it on the media. He will blame it on America's long-time allies. He might even blame Netanyahu if he's desperate enough. He will blame everyone but his execrable self, and if it doesn't go down that way I will print those words out and eat them.
Seriously though, I don't think most Americans are ready for the kind of economic pain that is being talked about in this article and it's going to get very interesting if the Iranians decide to stand their ground knowing full well that such economic pain to the American people will eventually become painful to the American POTUS who attacked their country as well. Unfortunately, it appears we are all about to find out.
