The president was apparently "handpicking most of the 4,000-plus spectators lucky enough, cunning enough or rich enough to score a seat on the South Lawn."
The UFC is paying for the event and tickets are free. But a Republican lobbyist who has direct knowledge of the event and process told NBC News that sponsorship packages have been selling for $1 million or more for ringside seats, with one report suggesting the figure was closer to $1.5 million.""

Drumpf is giving tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer money to the company that maintains the pools at his porn resorts to paint the bottom of the D.C. Memorial reflecting pool blue because he wanted to see the water look like the swimming pool at his Mar-a-Lardass mob hangout. I wonder what his kickback amount is on that deal?
He unilaterally made the decision to bulldoze the historic East Room of OUR American people's White House to make room for a ginormous, ugly, gaudy, gold-leafed "ballroom" that emulates the tacky decor at his tacky Florida resort, and for which he now wants US taxpayers to pick up the $1 Billion cost of.
He wants to build a huge Nazi-era style 'Triumphal' arch that dwarfs just about every other structure in and around the US Capitol area in massiveness.
And now he is going to taint the celebration of 250 years of America and American democracy by turning the White House lawn into a fucking outdoor arena and invite his roid-raging, knuckle-dragging, UFC fighting pals to stage one of their lowbrow, three-ring-circus blood-fests there. And of course he is trying to make money off of it. I mean - ffs folks, it's OUR shared, national celebration, NOT HIS!!
These are all acts of a malignantly narcissistic madman who harbors delusions of being the first dictator in this nation's history. The people who voted to put this classless pile of gelatinous, orange trash in an ill-fitting suit back in the White House for a second time around have no idea of the destructive madness they have unleashed on the people of this country with that morally bankrupt vote.
