The judge ruled on the letter of the law in the matter, and the letter of the law says that Drumpf had no legal basis whatsoever to just unilaterally slapping his name on the facade of the Kennedy Center without Congressional approval. In other words, it was an unlawful act.
But as we all know, butthurt Donny can't handle rejection well, and so we get dissembling, mewling gibberish like this from the world's supposedly most powerful leader:

The Kennedy Center complex was built and dedicated to the memory of a past, assassinated American president, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th POTUS of this nation.
Drumpf had no fucking business defacing the venue's facade with his shithole family name to begin with without anyone's permission or input. The federal judge agreed.
As to that '36 Member Board of Trustees which unanimously voted to add the name "TRUMP"' to the Kennedy Center, what DonOld conveniently neglects to mention is that he fired the entire original, responsible, and serious board of the Kennedy Center and installed a bunch of his sphincter-licking, scrotum-fondling MAGA lackeys who would blindly go along with whatever whims the dirty old dictator wannabe demanded.
