Perhaps We Should Warn the GOP Loudly and Firmly Instead of "Quietly"?

These Republicans have got to be the most tone-deaf bastards on the face of the planet if they haven't figured it out by now that an American electorate which is already pissed off at them for letting Drumpf drag us into the Iran morass and exploding gas prices, is not going to stand idly and quietly by while they burden hard working, tax paying Americans with the $1 billion (and climbing) cost of Drumpf's 'Big Beautiful' golden ballroom which of course he plans to name after himself.

"Republicans won't have an easy time trying to sneak a high price tag for Trump's White House ballroom into a bill to fund federal immigration enforcement, a political analyst warned.

"The White House boasted last summer that the price tag for the ballroom would be $200 million, and every penny would come from private donations," wrote Steve Benen for MSNOW in a Tuesday piece. "Late last year, it was up to $400 million — though, again, the official line was that American taxpayers wouldn't be on the hook."

Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed on Monday that a $72 billion reconciliation package includes $1 billion in security features for Trump's ballroom, NBC News reported. "Put another way, congressional Republicans expect the public to pay $1 billion for a $400 million ballroom," according to Benen."

  

Actually, it's $1 billion for a $200 million ballroom since that is the up-front cost that Drumpf told Americans it would be, in addition to claiming that his big donor pedo "friends" would pay for it all.

When will people stop believing the brazen and opportunistic lies of this man?  He fucking lies about everything and he lies as a means of getting things that he wants, even if they are things that the country does not need or asked for.

The Republican party is going to sink even further in the polls and in the eyes of voters before this November's midterms if they try to shove this $1 billion wet kiss to Drumpf's inflated, kiddie-diddling ego down American taxpayer's throats.
