Is anyone else as sick and tired as I am of this incessantly whiny, self-victimization peddling, performative assholery, theater of the absurdity being put on by these right wingers day in and day out in this country?
Do these losers not have the inherently human ability to genuflect inwardly on themselves, and understand how they are portraying themselves and their embittered, selfish MAGA movement to everyone outside of their 15-20% bubble of the US population?
The principal reason these douchebags at TPUSA are throwing their own Super Bowl halftime show "alternative" is because they are, first and foremost, racist jackasses. Award winning singer Bad Bunny is of Puerto Rican descent. Puerto Ricans are American citizens. However, Puerto Rican American citizens aren't 'American' (aka 'white') enough for the TPUSA crowd. It's that brutally simple.
This is nothing new for this group, though. Their recently dearly departed leader had a long, well-documented history of racially inflammatory statements, despite the mewling denials from his defenders.
Secondly, this TPUSA "alternative" halftime show is going to be a flop for the very same reason why no decent musical and theater acts will play the Kennedy Center anymore after Drumpf and his minions hijacked the venue and slapped the greasy old mobster's name on the facade of the building, above JFK's name. No reputable, decent entertainment acts want to sully their names and reputations by appearing to appease people who are openly hostile to the concepts of human dignity, fairness, humanity, diversity, equity, and inclusion in our society.
Btw - anyone notice how grieving widow Erika Kirk seems to have gone from relative obscurity, to rumored love interest of JD Vance, to being newly anointed CEO of TPUSA. Shit - that's the quickest rise to wingnut fame and power since Rush Limbaugh was syndicated on hillbilly AM radio.
Charlie's grave site hasn't grown grass over it yet, and the grieving love of his life has been running around and barnstorming the country with her lavish dog and pony TPUSA road show, being all over TV and radio talk shows, and now, having achieved the pinnacle of MAGA success as the new CEO of TPUSA, is seemingly living the good life of fame and - unfortunate?- fortune? Much to think about there, huh folks? Perhaps a little too much.

"The Super Bowl is a week and a half away, but the much-ballyhooed alternative halftime show being aired by Turning Point USA has not even announced a line-up yet. To hear the public relations folks at the right-wing fundraising powerhouse founded by the late Charlie Kirk tell it, this silence is by design. Despite insisting they have “multiple performers” lined up, the TPUSA spokesperson has refused to offer any of the allegedly enticing names they promised would draw millions of viewers away from the actual Super Bowl halftime show and decimate it in the ratings. Instead, the “All-American Halftime Show” is starting to smell an awful lot like a flop.
For those who have blessedly forgotten the furor from last fall, in late September the NFL announced that Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican rapper, would headline the official program. To people whose brains haven’t been pickled by MAGA propaganda, this made sense. Bad Bunny is a true superstar, racking up streaming numbers rivaled only by Taylor Swift. The NFL is a money-making organization that wishes to build its brand with young people, so it makes sense that they want to snag the charming performer who mostly raps in Spanish.
MAGA’s endless outrage machine exploded, furious that someone they deemed “not an American” would get the most coveted, iconic gig in American sports. It’s hard to decide what was the stupidest assumption undergirding this racist freakout."
Nonetheless, in a roundabout way as is my methodology, I think what I am trying to get at here is - these TPUSA people have been from the beginning, and still are, nothing but a bunch of performative grifters and con artists pushing an un-American agenda of exclusion, hate, and bigotry, and it baffles me to no end how people can't see the oddness in how dear, sweet, widowed Erika is giddily riding the coattails of her hubby's horrific killing by one of his groyper enemies to MAGA stardom and, who knows what beyond that?
