This is why I have never felt so much as a pang of reservation or regret in calling MAGA a 'cult.'
No one can tell me that people like this former MAGA Republican rep. who openly urges a convicted felon, adjudicate rapist, and suspected child rapist to cover all of the buildings he renames after himself with gold, are people who are mentally and psychologically well-adjusted people. They are nothing of the sort. They are deeply damaged, amoral people.

During a Monday discussion on Newsmax, host Bob Brooks noted that Maria Shriver, a member of the Kennedy family, had condemned Trump for putting his name on the building.
"He saved the Kennedy Center!" Hayworth said of Trump. "And for everything that man is doing, you know, I am delighted to see him put his name on anything he likes, and he can gild the whole thing as far as I'm concerned.""

First off, it goes without saying that this woman is a lying, sack of shit member of the Drumpf Cult.
The Kennedy Center, after Drumpf purged the board and installed all of his ass-licking lackeys instead, has not been "saved." In FACT it is just the exact opposite as it always is with these shameless liars - Ticket sales AND attendance at the Kennedy Center have cratered:

The Post reported on Friday that it collected and analyzed ticket sales data from 3 September to 19 October and found that about 43% of tickets for typical productions remained unsold. In comparison, the Post reported that about 93% of tickets were sold or issued on a complimentary basis in the fall of 2024 and 80% in the fall of 2023.

Lastly, I just want to say this about this sordid incident.
There is unambiguous meaning behind the word 'Memorial' in the name of that building, 'The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center For The Performing Arts.'
The Kennedy Center building as it is commonly referred to, was dedicated to the memory of this nation's 35th President of the United States of America who was assassinated on November 22, 1963.
The Kennedy Center opened eight years after JFK's murder on September 8, 1971, at a time when then 25-year old Drumpf was riding his corrupt, racist father's coattails into the corrupt family real-estate business, and who only a couple of years later would hook up with famed mob attorney Roy Cohn to be his personal lawyer and to further burnish his mobster in training curriculum.
Drumpf crosses all lines of indignity and personal insult and crass, classless egoism by slapping his filthy pig family name on top of the 'Kennedy Center' name. That building was DEDICATED as a MEMORIAL to the memory of a slain American president, not to Donald fucking Trump.
What in God's name is wrong with that man's fucked up brain for him to do that?
Then again, what is wrong with his fucked up brain for deciding out of the blue to tear down the historic East Wing of the AMERICAN PEOPLE'S WHITE HOUSE and replace it with a ginormous "ballroom" structure that is twice the size of the actual White House, order it be gilded in gold leaf throughout, and of course, once again slapping his convicted felon, adjudicated rapist name on it?
Every day that Drumpf's execrable presence continues in the White House, he degrades this nation and the people of this nation ever further in the eyes of the rest of the world.
