Now, why on earth would Drumpf be considering invoking 'The Insurrection Act of 1807' in response to mostly peaceful and constitutionally-protected protests in Portland, Oregon and Chicago, Illinois?
Contrary to the lying bullshit being spewed by MAGA propagandists, there are no "War ravaged" "war zones" in either of those cities.
Have there been protests in Portland, Oregon? Absolutely. Have those protests ravaged a city and metropolitan area of 2.5 million people and literally, per the claims of DonOld Drumpf and his lying aides, burned Portland to the ground and left all of the businesses in the city boarded up? Lol. First off - no. The protests are confined to a single one city block area of Portland proper and not a single business has been "burned to the ground." Secondly, anyone having to think more than 1.2 seconds to answer that question is a dip shit.
I'm pretty certain that the millions of residents of Portland and Chicago as well as the local news media in those cities would know if their own communities were under siege from roving gangs of fire-bombing Anti-fa communists and Venezuelan gangbangers, don't you think? Yet Drumpf and his cabal of liars and fraudsters can only produce faked AI videos and photos to support Drumpf's dictator wannabe move of putting armed military on to US streets in civilian policing situations.

The Insurrection Act would allow the president to deploy the U.S. military domestically for law enforcement purposes. The military is typically not allowed to be deployed on U.S. soil for domestic law enforcement purposes without congressional authorization.
NBC News previously reported that White House officials have had increasingly serious talks about whether Trump should invoke the Insurrection Act. If Trump were to invoke the law, it would be the first time since former President George H.W. Bush invoked the law during the 1992 Los Angeles riots."
It's interesting personally to me that the last time an American president invoked 'The Insurrection Act of 1807' was during the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles, California in 1992, when George W. Bush did so.
It interests me personally because I was living in Los Angeles in 1992. I was an eyewitness to what actual rioting and the burning of large swaths of a major city looks like. Neither the protests in Portland, Oregon or Chicago, Illinois rise anywhere near to the level of the out of control violence I was witness to 33 years ago during that ugly racism-inspired event in our history.
So why is Drumpf talking (aka lying) about invoking 'The Insurrection Act of 1807' then?

Also, invoking 'The Insurrection Act' would be the next logical step toward the eventual declaration of martial law, the seizing of states elections operations and the canceling of the 2026 midterm elections and likely the 2028 presidential election as well. And by the time all of that occurs, the American experiment in democracy will be dead and the people of this country will be no better off than the poor bastards living under the control of DonOld's BFF Vladimir Putin and his other pals the Saudis.
But yeah, that is why that little weasel JD Vance is regurgitating his employer's threats to unleash the US military against American citizens.
