Portland, Oregon is not in any fucking reality-based sense way, a "War ravaged" city. And certainly not worthy of the President of the nation sending in the US military troops to show what a tinhorn bully he can be.
This is the move of a fascist dictator folks, calling on Kristi Noem's masked Homeland Security goons and his Fox "news" flunkie "Secretary of War," formerly known as 'United States Secretary of Defense,' to deploy the military into an American city all based on lies and bullshit from his right-wing enablers and propaganda peddling right-wing sources.
Btw, if you all haven't heard, we are very close to many of the Epstein files being made public and we found out yesterday that the names of South African billionaire Drumpf funders Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, along with Drumpf whisperer Steve Bannon are in those files which were released by the family estate of the late Jeffrey Epstein to the US Congress yesterday:

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee on Friday released its third
batch of documents tied to the estate of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, revealing the financier’s reported associations with powerful men such as Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon and Elon Musk.
Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, is also mentioned in the files.
“It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world. Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims,” Oversight spokesperson Sara Guerrero said in a Friday statement.
“Oversight Democrats will not stop until we identify everyone complicit in Epstein’s heinous crimes. It’s past time for Attorney General Bondi to release all the files now,” she added.
According to the newly released files, the tech billionaire Musk was scheduled to visit Epstein’s island in December 2014. Bannon, a former strategist to President Trump, and the tech billionaire Thiel had meetings slated with the financier in 2019 and 2017, respectively.
Andrew was listed on a manifest for a May 12, 2000, flight from New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport to West Palm Beach, Fla. Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, his former girlfriend who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for crimes related to the sexual abuse of minors, also were recorded as being aboard the flight, according to the published records.
Declaring "war" on an American city and declaring he will authorize his military to use "full force" (aka, kill people) American citizens is fucking abominable and it is clearly meant to be a distraction of impending bad news for Drumpf and the GOP on the Epstein files front.
Wake up folks. Your nation is being transformed into a Putin-style thugocracy before your very eyes because a bunch of wealthy, corrupt pedophiles and their enablers in a corrupted American political party are beholden to a lifelong con artist, convicted felon, rapist and suspected child rapist. If they are not removed from power, it will not turn out well for our democracy, and it will fundamentally alter the way of life of every citizen in this country for the worse if we go down that dark path.
