Some horrible things have been said and done in Charlie Kirk's name by some equally horrible people in this country these past few days, not the least including the orange menace himself, Drumpf.
And so at this point, since Kirk's champions seem intent on keeping his ignominious name in the news for purely exploitative political reasons for the foreseeable future, I think I will just keep quiet about the dearly departed for now and sit back and watch as Kirk's MAGA acolytes trash his legacy themselves by turning him into a cheap, dime-store "martyr." It goes without saying I fully expect to see a lot more poor taste from these people as they lionize poor Charlie. [cue the catchy pro-Charlie jingle]
