No Virginia - There is no Santa Claus, And There is no 'Plan'

"Starting this week, American farmers like Sherlock are getting hit with tariffs on food they directly sell to China, including soybeans, corn and wheat — as well as pork, chicken and beef. Those levies are in retaliation for tariffs President Trump put on Chinese goods coming to the United States.

In farm-dependent states like North Dakota, all of this has renewed concerns about a trade war.

Sherlock says that up until a few days ago, farmers had still hoped President Trump was using tariffs to negotiate. But now it feels chaotic. One minute they're on, then off, then one thing is exempted. Then there's a post on President Trump's Truth Social platform that American farmers should get ready to supply America, ending with "have fun."

"That really struck a lot of farmers, it was the wrong note," Sherlock says. "It has a lot of them questioning, is there a plan?""

 

Lol!  "Is there a plan?"

Drumpf?  A plan?  Lmfao.

Is there a plan for Drumpf's tariffs? 😶

Is there a plan to provide basic life sustenance for Grandma and Grandpa MAGA when they destroy Social Security?

Is their a plan to replace Medicare and Medicaid when those programs are eliminated?

Is there a plan to support the healthcare needs of tens of millions of Americans who will lose medical coverage when they repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA - aka 'Obamacare')?

Is there a plan to support American veterans when they sell off the VA and VA benefits programs to profiteering private interests?

Is there a plan to educate American children when they shut down the free, public school system and hand it over to their grifter for-profit education friends and Wall Street vultures?

These conservative Republican farmers apparently learned not a damn thing from Drumpf's tariff war with China the first time around.  I mean, seriously.  How could they have so conveniently forgotten that because Drumpf had no 'plan' in 2018, his tariffs ended up being used mostly to bail their asses out of the financial harm that was caused by the stupidity of the tariffs to begin with?:

These people should fucking know better by now that DonOld Drumpf is a lying, incompetent, unreliable fraud, and always has been.  His word isn't worth dog shit, and putting faith in him to ever do the right thing by others is an exercise in tiresome futility.
