The very rarest of creatures spoke those carefully studied words dear readers --namely a sane Republican. A guy named Rick Wilson. Wilson has been a lifelong Republican and GOP political strategist at both the state and national levels.
Wilson gets it. Wilson sees the madness in their madness. Wilson recognizes the danger that is posed to democracy should power ever be consolidated in the hands of people like Drumpf and the slackjaws who comprise the core of his base. That was Rick Wilson saying goodbye to what remained of his Republican party.
