Not Gadfly's Problem If You Don't Give a Damn About Your Children's Future...

The only other current subject even that The Gadfly has any desire to talk about this day is this:

For years, politicians wanting to block legislation on climate change have bolstered their arguments by pointing to the work of a handful of scientists who claim that greenhouse gases pose little risk to humanity.
One of the names they invoke most often is Wei-Hock Soon, known as Willie, a scientist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics who claims that variations in the sun’s energy can largely explain recent global warming. He has often appeared on conservative news programs, testified before Congress and in state capitals, and starred at conferences of people who deny the risks of global warming.
But newly released documents show the extent to which Dr. Soon’s work has been tied to funding he received from corporate interests.
He has accepted more than $1.2 million in money from the fossil-fuel industry over the last decade while failing to disclose that conflict of interest in most of his scientific papers. At least 11 papers he has published since 2008 omitted such a disclosure, and in at least eight of those cases, he appears to have violated ethical guidelines of the journals that published his work.

Fucking sigh . . . . . . . . . . .

At what point do we get to publicly acknowledge that the 1% of Climate Scientist "experts" who refute the views of the other 99% of their peers who unanimously agree that mankind is responsible for greenhouse gas increases, are compromised con artists and bought and paid for fossil fuel industry whores?  When are we going to finally fucking acknowledged that which is true and irrefutable?

So basically, one of the clowns that the conservatives routinely trot out to refute the experts on global climate change just happens to be on the payroll of the oil conglomerates.  GO FIGURE GADFLY!

The mainstream media's response:

Yeah -- that's right.  Your media is not on the job looking out for you and your family kids.  Don't expect them to ensure anything but their own goddamn paychecks from their corporate masters.

It's a miracle that that article showed up in the NYTimes, but you can be sure that no other national outlets including NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN or FOX will talk about it.  Because they are all owned by the same oligarch controlled corporations who have no vested interest in seeing that the truth is being disseminated to the American people.

The Gadfly has been saying it for years --- turn off cable and television news --- what they deliver is not "news" .... it's bullshit and lies and histrionic reality trash tv ... nothing more, nothing less.

Anyhow dear readers --- if you care about your kid's and grandkid's futures -- listen to the real experts and not the loud mouth clowns on your idiot box .......
