Ahhh -- ain't that sweet? Passing along the custom of gun goonery to the younger generation:
KITTRELL, N.C. — Vance County sheriff’s investigators said a family argument that turned deadly Monday night began when an 84-year-old man shot and wounded his 49-year-old son. The elderly man was then shot to death by his 11-year-old grandson, deputies said.
Charges are pending.
Deputies were called to a home at 430 Cricket Creek Lane in Kittrell about 7 p.m. They discovered the homeowner, 84-year-old Lloyd Woodlief, had been shot once with a 12-gauge shotgun. He died a short time later.

But hey -- it's all good right? This is the dream and vision of the modern-day American family that the NRA and the conservative wingnuts have for the country, so they truly should be proud of their accomplishments at making gun goonery a modern-day, cherished family tradition.
From The Gadfly's view, it isn't difficult to see where all of this gun goonery business, if allowed to spread like the cancer it is, will lead the country to in the end. The outcome, to sane observers, is pretty clear, and it's quite ugly, and is pre-ordained unless the sane people stand up and collectively say - enough is enough.
