Bricks & Baseball Bats . . . As American as Apple Pie and Tea Parties

Just a random post . . .

The Gadfly has been thinking quite a bit about the Charlottesville thing and after weeks of somberly considered, carefully thought out analysis, The Gadfly has decided to throw his moral lot in with Woody Allen's character Isaac Mortimer Davis in the movie 'Manhattan', specifically as it pertains to the most appropriate, if not effective method of interfacing with marching Nazis in this country:

Isaac said it best at the end of that clip -- "Physical force is always better with Nazis.  It's hard to satirize a guy with shiny boots."

It is what it is.  Amen.
