Just a couple of months ago Charlie Kirk publicly called for the full release of the Epstein files which did not go down well with many of the MAGA faithful.

Drumpf's horse-face whisperer and MAGA confidant Laura Loomer went ballistic and practically called Kirk a traitor to the MAGA cause and a betrayer of dear leader Drumpf's presidency:

All I am saying is that the MAGA movement has more than its fair share of shady operatives, unscrupulous opportunists, backstabbers, weirdos, freaks, haters, nutjobs, etc. in it's sphere of influence that if I were the lead investigator on this case, that would be the most logical first place I would start searching for my suspect.

Brazil's justice system shows Americans how to deal with traitors and those plotting coups to undermine their nation's democracy.  If only our Supreme court weren't so tainted, the US might have held Drumpf accountable for his January 6, 2021 coup attempt - which sadly for America seems to have worked since he is back in office now.

The Creation of an Ideological Martyr in Real-Time

 

I truly wish this could be the last thing I post about the horror of the Charlie Kirk assassination, but since Drumpf and MAGA seem intent on lionizing the life of their fellow charlatan and bestowing government-sponsored honors upon him that he neither earned or deserves, I have a sad feeling we are going to be talking about this shit for some time to come unfortunately.

You do have to admit though that it's pretty damn convenient that this event will push news of Drumpf's burgeoning Epstein files cover-up to the side, and gives him and his cult a polarizing public incident to seize upon and of course embellish and cynically exploit for their own political advantage.

So since Drumpf and his people seem intent on elevating Charlie Kirk to sainthood status and are foaming at the mouth yelping for vengeance against Democrats and liberals without there even being a suspect in custody yet or any official evidence presented to the public as to the killer's identity, much less ideology, I'm just going to put this out here and let it simmer for a bit, mkay?

There are no decent mainstream liberals or Democratic politicians who are celebrating the killing of MAGA activist Charlie Kirk. Those claims from the MAGA mouthpieces on social media (Facebook and X mostly) that this is occurring are just outright, provocative lies, and also a sick-minded effort to politically capitalize on Kirk's death, which is nothing new for these MAGA apparatchiks because this is the kind of shit they do - constantly.

Sadly, even before rigor mortis has set in on Kirk's corpse, his MAGA compatriots are already seeking to martyrize him by getting Drumpf to order the flags in the nation's capitol lowered to half staff and posthumously awarding Kirk the nation's highest civilian honor the US Medal of Freedom, which btw is something he wouldn't do for the Minnesota Democratic lawmakers recently slain by a MAGA nutjob.  And today, Drumpf issued a hollow decree on his Chinese-funded social media site vowing retribution, which of course only serves to inflame tensions even more.

Then there's the MAGA Republican in Florida (where else, right?) who is even pushing the idea of erecting a statue of Charlie Kirk in the Capitol rotunda. Seriously - a fucking statue in the US Capitol.  I mean, you have to remember folks - these hardcore MAGA people who we are dealing with are people who are very, very loosely tethered to reality.

As such - there will be no mournful memorials from these quarters for the life of an individual who:

1. Said gay people should be stoned to death.
2. Said people should be scared if an African-American pilot is flying their plane.
3. Said Taylor Swift should 'submit' to her husband.
4. Said no Americans should be allowed to retire.
5. Said liberals and Democrats should not be allowed to move to and live in 'red' states.
6. Said the MAGA guy who viciously assaulted Nancy Pelosi's husband should be set free.
7. Said that religious freedom in America should be terminated.
8. Said that black politicians "stole white people's spots."
9. Said that Martin Luther King Jr. was an awful person.
10. Said that vaccine requirements are "medical apartheid."
11. Said that gun deaths in America are acceptable in order to preserve the 2nd amendment.
12. Said George Floyd is dead because he had it "coming" to him.
13. Said the 1964 Civil Rights Act was a "huge mistake."
14. Said that mass incarceration should be considered as a solution to homelessness.


And the list goes on and on and on.  I am not going to post links to every one of those utterly cruel, ugly, un-American, un-Christian things that Charlie Kirk and other MAGA mouthpieces just like him for that matter, have uttered publicly or in print.  That's what the internet and a search engine are for - go find out for yourself.

Having said that, we must roundly and in unison condemn the act of cowardly violence that took Charlie Kirk's life, as we should condemn the taking of the Minnesota Democratic politicians lives, or any human's life for that matter.  Just don't venerate Charlie Kirk.  Charlie Kirk's life was not honorable.  It was a life of grifting off of a cult of personality movement built around an aging, pussy-grabbing, failed reality TV show host, convicted felon and suspected child rapist.  It was a life of spreading bigotry and racism, misogyny, intolerance, lies and ignorance in furtherance of that movement.  There isn't a shred of honor or decency in any of that.

And one last thing.  Isn't it supremely ironic how the guns everywhere, guns all the time crowd who are of the view that the tens of thousands of American men, women, and children killed by guns in this country every year is an "acceptable" price to pay for them to keep their cherished 2nd amendment, are all up in arms (pun unintended) about one of their movement leaders dying by gunfire?  Fucking incredible, isn't it?

My God, what stupid, thoughtless, ugly times we are living in.

Political Violence is Only Bad When it Happens to Conservatives

Just a reminder that just a mere two months or so ago, a right wing loon targeted and shot and killed two Minnesota Democratic lawmakers in their own homes and was poised to kill many more:

Apparently America's favorite pastime of gun violence doesn't register with MAGA Americans unless that violence claims one of their own as happened yesterday with Charlie Kirk in Utah. 

When the Minnesota Democrats were gunned down in their homes by the right-wing guy in June, there were no words of outrage expressed from those in the MAGA sphere of influence.  None.  Drumpf himself being the vindictive prick he is even refused to call Minnesota Governor Tim Walz or the families of the murdered Democrats to console them.

But yeah, both Drumpf and MAGA can just fuck right off with their faux outrage over Charlie Kirk's killing.  I am not going to take any hypocritical bullshit from the very same people who laughed and made fun of Nancy Pelosi's 86-year old husband being attacked and having his skull bashed in by a hammer-wielding MAGA thug.  Nor am I moved by the crocodile tears of the people who approved of the violent January 6th attack on the US capitol that claimed the lives of five people including two police officers and put hundreds of other police officers in the hospital.

And I would be remiss if I failed to mention that these same conservative assholes rending their garments over Charlie Kirk are the same bastards who laugh and cheer as ICE goons are violently ripping immigrants away from their jobs, communites, and families and shipping them off to third-world torture prisons.

So, you will just have to forgive me for not getting all choked up about what happened to Charlie Kirk.  Was Kirk's assassination awful?  Yes.  Was it immoral?  Yes.  Was it evil?  Yes.  Was it unexpected?  No.  Charlie Kirk immersed himself and reveled in a world of targeted hate, bigotry, misogyny, and intolerance.  His death was a natural byproduct of the environment that he and his supporters helped to create and foster.

James Woods, an actor and Trump supporter, posted a photo of Kirk with the caption: “It’s not gun violence. It’s Democrat violence.”

Right-wing podcast host Joey Mannarino called for the Democratic Party to be “classified as a domestic terror organization and their members & leaders treated accordingly.”

“Democrats are the party of death and destruction,” wrote the conservative political commentary duo the Hodgetwins.

“The left has declared LITERAL WAR on us. DEMOCRATS AND THEIR VlOLENT RHETORIC OWN THIS!” wrote pro-Trump journalist Nick Sortor, sharing a video of a man being detained, who Sortor claimed was the shooter—though it has since been reported that a suspect is not yet in custody."

 

That is some seriously fucking high comedy there friends.

You could easily take every single one of those quotes from those right wing/MAGA influencers above and put them in to the mouths of actors in a movie portraying members of Germany's Nazi party in the 1930's and it would fit right in as realistic dialogue in the script because those words are very similar to the raging hate that Nazis directed toward their political opposition after the Horst Wessel episode.

The Fox "news" Finger Wagging Hyenas Are on the Loose

As I predicted in a previous post.  Here's Jesse Watters and of course the execrable propaganda clearinghouse posing as a legitimate news organization known as Fox "news" already smearing Democrats with the Charlie Kirk assassination today and stirring up even more hatred.

Fox is a propaganda cable tv network folks.  They are not now, never have been, and never will be a legitimate news outfit.  The reason they could not procure a mainstream broadcast license like ABC, CBS, and NBC is because they peddle mostly political propaganda to their viewers.  They exist mostly to disinform, misinform, carry water for corrupt Republicans, and to incite people to political conflict.  

And they are doing it right now even as the officials at the Utah University where the Kirk shooting occurred just told the press that no weapon has been recovered, and no suspect is in custody.  In other words, nobody knows who this shooter is right now, not even law enforcement.  Yet there's Jesse Watters on Fox already pointing the finger of political blame.  Fuck him.  Fuck Fox.

In Short - It Was Murder

Drumpf and Pistol Pete Hegseth may both very well find themselves facing a human rights criminal tribunal at The Hague some day if this whole story about the Caribbean drug boat attack is true.

The New York Times has a story out about this now, and purportedly the motorized skiff with these 11 "suspected" human drug smugglers on board had turned back prior to the order being given to blow them up with a hellfire missile fired from a US Navy warship, a most cowardly act by the world's most powerful Navy, btw, even if it was a direct order from a corrupt POTUS.  The fact he is so corrupted makes it even more cowardly.

And on that note, I do have to mention this one more time just because of what a disgusting travesty it was and still is, and that was the recent episode of Drumpf allowing that Soviet mass murderer to set foot not only on US soil, but on a US military base no less where he ordered our own uniformed military people to roll out an actual red carpet for Putin, saluted his arrival, and feted him with a brass band tribute and military jet flyover show befitting a great hero.  And of course, there was DonOld, standing on the red carpet on the airbase tarmac, prancing about excitedly like a teenage girl about to meet her pop singing idol - either that he had just shit his Depends diaper and it was oozing down his leg.

Seriously though - what a disgusting display by an American president prostrating and emasculating himself in front of a greasy KGB thug like Putin like that, ffs.  I honestly will never understand how anyone who purports to support our troops and our US military can still support Drumpf after his embarrassing and repulsive Alaska reunion with his dearest BFF, Vlad.
