Ma and Pa MAGA still don't get it.
Even after a decade they are still under some kind of delusional spell believing that Drumpf takes their meager MAGA lives into even the slightest consideration with the things he does and the decisions he makes in his role as POTUS.
And if they haven't figured that out by now, they never will and truly are a hopeless cause:

Grocery shoppers who backed Trump in 2024 told The New York Times for a Wednesday report that rising prices have left several of them frustrated, with a retired nurse in Maine telling the president, "you should be taking care of the people in your country."
Rebecca Guerrette, an independent, said she was unhappy with the economy and called the war with Iran a "waste of money." "I think Trump did a better job as president like eight years ago," Guerrette told The Times. She said living costs have climbed in recent years while paychecks have not kept pace, adding that she probably would not cast a ballot in the Senate race between Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Democrat Troy Jackson."
Everything that these Trump voters are now moaning about was predicted to happen by wiser people in this country.
American voters were clearly warned of the consequences of re-electing the convicted felon and coup-plotting traitor back to the White House a second time in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election.
Sadly, the same blockheads who voted for the dirty old 'pussy-grabber' in 2016 refused to heed those warnings and voted for the traitorous old child molester a second time anyway because they are thoughtless Americans, and selfish people of deficient moral values.
And it goes without saying of course that everything that was predicted by the wiser Americans has come true, and now some of the the Trump voters are beginning to feel some pangs of regret for their 2024 vote.
These people don't actually regret having voted for the greasy old felon in 2024, mind you.
No, more than anything, they regret that their orange savior hasn't been entirely successful in following through on his promise to become America's first dictator and to 'cleanse' America of all the people who they collectively hate and view as less 'American' and less deserving to be here in this country than themselves.
And for that reason, nobody should give a flying fuck how much Ma and Pa MAGA are now suffering and upset that Drumpf is headlong in taking them down the road to economic ruin with his ill-advised Iran war, a war in the Middle East that, once again, smarter Americans warned him not to start, but he did anyway, and also with the stupid unilateral tariff wars that he launched and won't be able to finish because America will probably be in a Depression by the time he's done fucking around.
This is what the Ma and Pa MAGAs voted for in 2024 even after they were sufficiently warned that Drumpf was going to do this to them.
Kind of tells the whole story, huh?
