Perhaps MAGA politicians like Lauren Boebert who seem to take great pleasure in publicly boasting of their Christian bonafides and reminding the rest of us of their superior faith beliefs, should spend less time lecturing dirty liberal hippies like myself about God and faith, and more time raising their children to be better human beings:

"Newly released court records are filling in the case against Tyler Boebert, the 21-year-old son of firebrand Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), who was arrested Sunday on three felony charges of sexual exploitation of a child.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Denver Post, the investigation began in 2024 with a Safe2Tell report that sexually explicit videos involving minors had been posted to an Instagram account. Investigators allege that one 43=second video recorded in early 2024 showed Tyler Boebert, then 18, having sex with an underage 17-year-old girl. He is accused of producing, possessing, and distributing sexually exploitative material.

Boebert, of New Castle, was released the same day after posting a $10,000 bond. He faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, all felonies, and is scheduled to appear in Garfield County District Court on Aug. 19.

In 2024, Tyler Boebert pleaded guilty to attempted identity theft after a string of vehicle break-ins. He faces two sentencing hearings next month in separate cases." 

 

Typically I wouldn't waste valuable blog space on a story about a MAGA politician's sex criminal offspring, but Lauren Boebert is a special case. 

Boebert has been using her Republican congressional position to shove her Christian piety act down the public's throats since she appeared on the MAGA scene with Drumpf's ascension to the White House.

Boebert herself has been caught up in multiple embarrassing public morality situations which seriously call into question her aggressive commitment to the religious values she incessantly and profusely expresses love for.

Here's a novel concept Republican voters - stop electing performative moral frauds like Lauren Boebert to public office.  That is the most surefire way to avoid embarrassment and shame to your political party that inevitably comes with having these losers in public office.
