I am still spitting mad furious about this story of Drumpf's and Steven Miller's goons rounding up and deporting the spouses and parents of active duty US military personnel.
This never would have occurred under any previous American presidential administration, Democratic or Republican.
It is such an insult to those active duty personnel who now have to live with the thought that the government and country whom they swore an oath to protect and defend with their lives would throw their own spouses and parents out of the country that they have committed their lives to protecting.
It's a pathetic and disgraceful betrayal of trust and honor between our government and these soldiers that underscores the zealotry of Drumpf's and Miller's cruel and destructive deportation mission:

More than 50 parents and spouses of active-duty service members have been detained since Donald Trump returned to office, and at least six have been deported, an Associated Press investigation found. It is the first accounting of such detentions, which the government does not track.
At least eight immediate family members of US service members remain in federal immigration custody.
Parents and spouses of people in the military have generally been shielded from deportation under bipartisan consensus for decades. But the AP found they are now routinely being detained for months as they try to adjust their legal status through the policies available to service members’ close relatives and even as parts of the military continue to recruit by advertising immigration benefits for enlistees’ families.
Experts warn that the reversal could undermine military preparedness even as the US is at war in Iran. It has left military members without emotional support and caretakers for their children, delayed deployments and forced some to take leave.
“How can I even focus on my military career because I have to worry about how my wife is doing?” said army Sgt Hedar Leonel Turcios Juarez, who was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas, when his wife was detained outside a Walmart in front of their six-year-old daughter in July.
A handful of detentions of service members’ spouses have prompted public backlash."
The "public backlash" isn't nearly as forceful as it rightfully ought to be about this villainous practice.
As far as I am concerned, they can add this embarrassing assholery to the list of charges for the filthy old kiddie diddler's third and final impeachment.
