It's amusing at times to watch how these right-wing conservatives address every piece of public information that reflects badly on their party and their party's ability to govern competently as "fake news" or a "Democrat hoax," or "liberal hoax."
Yet, as sane people can plainly see in these stories, the numbers don't lie and they accurately portray just how badly the Republican party has governed over their own constituents over the decades to the point that these Republican-led red states have essentially become, as DonOld Drumpf himself would say, "shithole" places to live:

"CNBC’s ranking of the 10 worst states to live in 2026—all of them Republican-led—has drawn criticism from conservatives.
The broadcaster gave each state a Quality of Life score based on factors including crime rates, air quality, healthcare access, worker protections and civil rights laws. The Quality of Life category was one of 10 in the outlet's annual America's Top States for Business study.
Tennessee was ranked the worst state to live in after receiving a score of just 64 out of 290."
Republicans, not to be content with or outdone in degrading the quality of life of their own state's constituents, have also turned their states into retirement dead zones:

"Retiring in the wrong state can cost the average American retiree and their beneficiaries as much as $200,000, according to a new study from financial services firm Integra Credit.
Using average retiree income figures, state tax rates, net worth and spending, the study calculated how much money a retiree would have left if they retired at 67 and died at 79.
“Our data analysis of retirement spending and savings data across the U.S. revealed that retirement wealth actually erodes at a staggering rate during the average retirement lifespan of 13 years, unwanted news for those depending on inheritance over building their own pot of savings,” Integra wrote."
Once again, the top 10 worst states for retirement are Republican-led red states.
What more will it take for Republican voters to realize that the performative, right-wing clowns and bozos who they themselves keep electing to higher office just don't give a shit about them and are more interested in advancing their own personal, mostly greedy political agendas by attaching themselves like sucker fish to a dying Trump's bloated ass, and performing like trained, clapping seals whenever dear leader issues one of his corrupt orders to trash our constitution and commit criminal acts on his behalf.
I mean - when the voters of these red states find themselves being shit upon constantly by the GOP voters who they keep voting for, don't you think it would dawn on John and Mary Republican at some point that they are being taken for reliably gullible fools by the party they so slavishly support?
This is why I personally find it so difficult to avoid calling these MAGA voters 'stupid.' I see no acceptable, alternative way to describe people who don't think twice about continually voting to degrade their own quality of life over and over and over and over and over again.
