I honestly believe that the dirty old mobster would have no reservations whatsoever in issuing an edict to demolish the Statue of Liberty, likely as one of the last vengeful acts of a dying, soulless despot wannabe, hell-bent on taking his anger and revenge out on a people, a nation, and democracy that he has despised for a very long time.

I have to admit that is some ballsy, dictator wannabe favoring bullshit right there folks.
It is totally unsurprising that Drumpf seems to have found the only "lawyers" in the country willing to state on the public record that Drumpf has such privileged, sacrosanct powers that he can order the instant destruction of United States historical monuments (see White House East Wing), and that he installed these "lawyers" in his now hopelessly corrupted Department of Justice.
What these Drumpf toadie DOJ "lawyers" are essentially claiming is that because Drumpf violated the law with his order to bulldoze and demolish the historic East Wing of the American people's White House with absolutely no input from the American people or their representatives in Congress, and zero review by appropriate governmental agencies, he now possesses extended immunity from the law because his illegal ballroom project, which he had no legal basis for beginning construction on to begin with, is simply too far along in construction.
Lol. The fucking gall of these assholes.
They are trying to put Drumpf above the law and grant him kingly executive powers. They want to make Drumpf untouchable by our legal system just as they are trying to do in giving him, his dirty family, and their dirty associates blanket immunity from investigation and prosecution of their future financial crimes.
What these DOJ "lawyers" are saying with this audacious claim about Drumpf's executive power is nothing but their own cowardly way of placating the expiring gangster's torpid intellectual whims and doomed ambition to be America's first dictator.
