We've Reached The 'Boots on The Ground' Stage of Don & Bibi's Big Iran Armageddon Adventure

Against the judgment of wiser people - Drumpf appears to have opted to escalate his Big Iran Armageddon Adventure:

"The Pentagon is moving additional Marines and warships to the Middle East as Iran steps up its attacks on the Strait of Hormuz, according to three U.S. officials. 

 

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has approved a request from U.S. Central Command, responsible for American forces in the Middle East, for an element of an amphibious ready group and attached Marine expeditionary unit, typically consisting of several warships and 5,000 Marines and sailors, the officials said.

The Japan-based USS Tripoli and its attached Marines are now headed for the Middle East, two of the officials said. Marines are already in the Middle East supporting the Iran operation, the officials said."

 

You don't send half the US Navy and a US Marines expeditionary force halfway around the world just as a "deterrence" tactic.  These will be American boots on the ground soon enough if Netanyahu gets his way and a compliant Drumpf and his toady war secretary appease him.

These guys have no clue what they are getting into.  Iran is nothing close to being a backwater Venezuela with a tin-horn dictator like Maduro.  These fanatical, hard-line Iranians have been preparing for nearly half a century just for this very scenario of Israel and America, "The Great Satan," joining forces to attack them.

And what makes this all the more concerning is that we simply cannot believe one fucking word that comes out of the mouths of the chorus of serial, pathological liars who populate Drumpf's administration, much less the POTUS himself.  

If half of that Marine expeditionary force were to get slaughtered in some kind of a botched raid, which is entirely plausible under Kegseth's "leadership," I have no doubt that Drumpf and Kegseth would either bury the truth of it, or turn the truth on it's head by falsely embellishing and glorifying the incident, because that is just the kind of unscrupulous assholes they are.
