Hiring deteriorated from January, when companies, nonprofits and government agencies added a healthy 126,000 jobs, the Labor Department reported Friday. Economists had expected 60,000 new jobs in February.
Revisions also cut 69,000 jobs from December and January payrolls.
The surprisingly weak employment picture in February adds to the economic uncertainty over the war with Iran, which has caused oil prices to surge and saddled business and consumers with unforeseen costs."
The country should have seen at least 60,000 new jobs in February.
Instead, nearly 100,000 were lost.
Drumpf's great Iran War Adventure will ensure that any positive economic developments in the American economy will be cancelled out and rendered moot.
A months long Iran war most likely will usher in yet another Republican created recession. Hang on to your wallets and bank accounts folks, because you know damn well who always gets to foot the bill for fucking Republican wars - that's right - Mr. and Mrs. US Taxpayer . . . AND . . . Mr. and Mrs. US Consumer.
You have to remember - the Republican party, long before the orange menace came along, had an impressive track record of inheriting fair to robust economies from Democratic presidents, only to trash those recovering economies with their undeclared wars and regressive, billionaire fondling economic and tax policies that punished average American workers and rewarded the silver spoon in mouth heirs of the billionaire class who are already wallowing in more ill-deserved wealth than they could ever dream of having, much less are deserving of having.
I mean, ffs, you got Drumpf tweeting out AI pictures of how he imagines his new, nearly half billion dollar, gold-gilded ballroom being built in his own honor at a time when he and Pete Kegsbreath are contemplating putting American soldier's boots on the ground in a hostile country of nearly 100 million pissed off Arabs:

Drumpf doesn't give a shit about 'jobs' or 'job reports.' Just like he couldn't give less of a fuck about American soldiers being sent off to wage war and die in a foreign, hostile land because he himself made the colossally boneheaded decision to join Israel in waging a holy war on Iran.
There is no telling how badly this dangerously stupid Iran conflagration will spin out of control, or how badly Drumpf and his clown show administration will fuck things up even worse. The only thing we all can confidently count on with Drumpf himself is that if there is a way to make an already horrifying situation even more horrifying, DonOld Drumpf is the man to do it, and he will have plenty of help from the pathetic quislings in his administration.
Oh yeah, lest I forget - gas prices have shot up 11% nationwide (per AAA) since the Iran bombing began and are likely to go higher the longer the conflict drags on and even more so if the shipping lanes of the Strait of Hormuz are threatened and shipments of gulf energy supplies are cut off. That's going to get ugly pretty quick.
And you know it's only going to get worse because we have now seen Drumpf and his lackeys and apologists, in just the space of a few days, go from saying America's engagement would be days, to a couple of weeks, to now saying it will be an unspecified number of "months".
You can almost smell the lust that emanates from the regime change/nation building mission creep fantasies of Drumpf's MAGA lieutenants and compromised apologists and it's unnerving.
As for Drumpf's Iran War business partner Bibi Netanyahu - that criminal piece of mass murdering shit has had a boner for waging war on Iran - WITH THE U.S. AT HIS SIDE of course for 45 years. Well, it looks like Bibi finally at long lost got his rocks off, and the witless faces of Drumpf and MAGA are the lucky recipients of that foul, incestuous copulation. Sadly, American taxpayers get stuck cleaning up the sticky, unholy mess afterward.
