The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon's Jeff Bezos is in talks to raise $100 billion to acquire manufacturing businesses and automate them with artificial intelligence.
The report was published at a time when economic experts at the Federal Reserve had expressed concerns about the "almost zero" job growth over the previous year.
"The Amazon.com founder is meeting with some of the world’s largest asset managers to raise funding for the project," the report reads in part. "A few months ago, he traveled to the Middle East to discuss the new fund with sovereign wealth representatives in the region. More recently, he went to Singapore to raise funding for the effort as well, according to people familiar with the matter.""
This fucking guy is colluding with other tech bro billionaires and filthy Middle East "sovereign wealth representatives" (aka - Arab oil sheikhs) to essentially eliminate the human workforce wherever they can.
When the news came out several months ago that Amazon's gazillionaire owner Jeff Bezos "donated" $75 million to Drumpf to make the execrable 'Melania' movie, and after it was revealed that Amazon was one of the donor companies underwriting the funding for Drumpf's tearing down of the historic East Wing of the White House to build his big, gaudy, gold-leafed ballroom, I wasted no time in canceling my Amazon Prime membership and have not purchased one single item from Amazon since.
I have no intention of resuming my long-time Amazon patronage for the foreseeable future. Fuck Amazon. I'll buy direct from manufacturers. I'll buy local. Will I pay more? For some stuff, yes. But it sure as shit beats putting money into the pocket of a fabulously wealthy billionaire who pisses away billions sending celebrities up into sub orbital space in his rockets, treats his rank and file employees like expendable commodities, coddles pedophiles, and has grand visions of AI running the world and kicking humanity to the curb.
That's why I don't feel bad at all when I say Fuck Jeff Bezos and his company too.
Why do I feel so viscerally angry about this? Because, not only is Bezos a shamelessly greedy bastard, I've decided that I don't want one single penny of my money going to someone who provides cover for and rewards the criminal behavior of a piece of shit like Donald Trump in order to curry favor with his pedophilia-tainted, war mongering administration. The woefully under-taxed Bezos is a morally bankrupt crud whose new AI business model aspirations aren't worth propping up with my hard earned, honestly earned, overtaxed money.
Another reason is that Bezos is one of a handful of wealthy tech bro shitheads including that Twitter trashing South African immigrant billionaire Nazi pal Elmo and the Ellisons who are gobbling up all of the big media in this country. They aren't doing so to offer you the consumer more choices, or better and more competitively priced products. No, they are doing it because they want to control everything, and part of that equation is controlling the media that Americans consume so that they can control the narrative on national and world news, and public affairs, and that makes it much easier for them to manipulate, mislead, and outright deceive the American people.
If you can - walk away from Amazon. Jeff Bezos has demonstrated his disdain for the working class people and consumers of this country long enough and it's time to start fighting back against this scummy tech bro cabal of Bezos, Musk, Thiel, Zuckerberg, Larry and David Ellison, etc... These are some of the wealthiest people on the planet, but they are shitty, morally bankrupt human beings and they have nothing but bad times planned for not only American workers, but workers around the world.
