"President Donald Trump showed a classified map he retained from his first term in office to passengers on a 2022 private plane flight and retained another record so sensitive that only six high-ranking government officials had access to it, according to a prosecution memo released to Congress this week.
The Justice Department shared those findings, detailed in a January 2023 briefing document written by then-special counsel Jack Smith’s team, with lawmakers as they conduct a review of Smith’s now-abandoned efforts to prosecute Trump.
The memo, which was obtained by the Washington Post, was penned as investigators moved toward indicting Trump on charges of illegally retaining sensitive government material after he left the White House. It offers a snapshot of an early moment in Smith’s investigation and adds new shading to the public understanding of Smith’s probes, even as a final report on his findings remains under court seal.
The memo, for instance, reveals that Smith’s team gathered at least some evidence to suggest that Trump had retained classified material pertinent to his personal business interests and that prosecutors were investigating whether his decision to hold on to those records was motivated by financial gain."
Uh huh. Just like every other egregious Drumpf transgression, it goes without saying that if Hillary Clinton or Obama, or Biden, or Harris had done this, the MAGAs would have been frothing at the mouth bellowing for their impeachments and prosecutions.
Jack Smith's findings that Drumpf endangered national security, and probably for personal financial gain, nicely bookends the recently departed Robert Mueller's 2019 findings that Drumpf's 2016 election campaign knowingly accepted help from Russia, AND that Drumpf himself had committed multiple acts (ten I believe) of felony obstruction of justice in trying to cover it up and evade accountability.
Drumpf quite simply is a crook and a back stabber and has been so his entire adult life. The guy's lifelong con artistry isn't secret. Christ, there's tons of evidence in the public domain that he has been tainted by the mob and foreign interests for decades.
I have no doubt Dirty DonOld intended to sell whatever classified materials that he had illegally removed from the White House to the highest bidder because that's just the type of traitorous dirtbag he is.
Either that, and more likely, he was going to used those classified documents as bargaining chips, perhaps as a payment for services rendered to someone who had the capability to arrange the untimely demise of a certain individual who was eyewitness to many acts of pedophilia committed by many VIP people, very likely including DonOld and his "friends?"
The story has yet to be written that plumbs the true depths of not only Drumpf's betrayal of this country, but also his role in the 'Epstein Files' horror, and what it all means for the American people if the dirty old mobster isn't removed from office.
