So. If you haven't heard. Robert Mueller passed away yesterday at the age of 81 - nearly the same age as Drumpf incidentally.
Mueller for those not in the know was a former two-time Director of the FBI, having served under both presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
Mueller had a stellar, unblemished career in law enforcement.
Mueller also had a stellar, unblemished military service record.
From Wikipedia:
Link: Robert Mueller - Wikipedia
Mueller was a standout soldier, highly decorated for valor in combat.
Robert Mueller also was a lifelong Republican, married to his high school sweetheart for 60 years, and a devoutly religious family man who had dedicated his life to public service.
It was because of this reputation for personal integrity and trustworthiness that Mueller was chosen to lead the investigation in to reports that Russia interfered in the 2016 election on behalf of candidate Donald Trump.
Mueller's exhaustive two-year investigation found that not only did Russia interfere in the 2016 election on behalf of Trumpf with criminal involvement by Trump campaign people (Manafort), he also reported to Congress that Drumpf had committed multiple acts of felony obstruction of justice, and that if Drumpf weren't a sitting POTUS, Mueller would have criminally indicted him.
Robert Mueller reported these truths to Congress that Donald Trump is a criminal and that his hands were tied because of some bullshit DOJ directive saying that you can't indict a sitting president and so he essentially advised Congress it was their duty to see that justice was served for Drumpf. And of course, it wasn't.
Which brings us to this sordid moment:
Yes, dear readers.
That was the public reaction of the sitting President of the United States of America to the news that Robert Mueller had passed away yesterday.
I have to take a very deep breath here . . . . . .okay, that's better...
I mean - where and how to begin, right?
Robert Mueller by all accounts was a successful, decent man, husband, father, grandfather. A highly decorated former US Marine who went on to a stellar, unblemished career in law enforcement and served as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Republican and Democratic presidencies.
Mueller was a lifelong conservative Republican and until Donald Trump made his execrable appearance on the American political scene, no one had ever questioned his personal character and reputation.
What can I say about the vileness of Donald Trump that I have not already stated a thousand times on the pages of this shitty little blog?
Suffice to say that when Drumpf dies, his hell-bound soul will be most fortunate if his own words about the death of Robert Mueller are the worst words that anyone has to say about his odious life.
