Wow as in holy shit wow.
Wait until you see, if you have not already seen it, Drumpf's Pedo Protector Attorney General Pam Bondi's 'performance' in front of Congress today. If you haven't watched any video of that shitshow, I will share a couple of clips in an upcoming post. You may want to consider having a bottle of liquor handy when watching those clips though, they are that harrowing.
Anyway, before we get to Scam Blondi Bondi's scummy meltdown in Congress today, let's talk about another DOJ toady Jeanine Pirro's attempt to indict two Democratic military veterans and senators., Elise Slotkin and Mark Kelly for publicly reminding U.S. troops they are not obligated to follow illegal orders, when in fact they are required by the Uniform Code of Military Justice to not only refuse unlawful orders, but to report them up the chain of command.
Pirro failed miserably in that disgustingly partisan effort, and everyone knows it was partisan and that it was ordered by the desperate and demented Pedophile-In-Chief.
Link: DOJ fails to indict Democrats involved in 'illegal orders' video
"WASHINGTON — The Trump administration tried and failed Tuesday to indict Democratic lawmakers over a video urging members of the military and intelligence communities not to comply with unlawful orders, three sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.
The indictment, pursued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, led by Trump appointee Jeanine Pirro, is the latest example of the Justice Department’s targeting the president's perceived political opponents. The government attorneys assigned to the case are political appointees, not career Justice Department prosecutors, according to one of the sources.
It’s exceedingly rare for federal grand juries to say prosecutors failed to meet the probable cause threshold for an indictment, and typically happens only a handful of times each year in the vast federal judicial system.
Trump administration officials failed Tuesday to convince a single juror that they had met the threshold to bring charges against the Democratic lawmakers, according to two of the sources familiar with the investigation. Federal grand juries have between 16 and 23 members, with 12 needed to advance an indictment."
They couldn't convince a "single juror" on the grand jury to go along with their sickening scheme. Thank God we still have some honest and patriotic Americans in this country who recognize and understand what the TRUE politicization and 'weaponization' of federal power looks like when they see it. In this case the entire empaneled grand jury told Drumpf and his wino DOJ apparatchik Jeanine Pirro to go pound sand.
The exact same thing happened with the Letitia James and James Comey indictments. Those nakedly partisan charges were laughed out of court.
The same happened to the Washington D.C. resident who Pirro tried and failed to prosecute on both felony and misdemeanor charges for throwing his freshly purchased Subway sandwich at the bullet-proof vest covered chest of a National Guardsman who Drumpf had illegally sent to patrol the streets of his city.
And also now the same is happening with a whole lot of the cases of protesters and innocent bystanders arrested by ICE seeing most of their cases being thrown out of court too.
There are reports of judges across the country citing outright lies in court (aka perjury) by ICE agents and officials, and failure to present credible evidence of their charges against the people who they are attempting to incarcerate.
So what we are witnessing with these juries and jurors rejecting the brazen politicization and weaponization of the DOJ by Drumpf and Bondi, are not only the foundational principles and traits of honesty, civic duty, and patriotism, which exist in more Americans than their are MAGA adherents, being practiced, but also a 'We The People' counterbalance to the corrupting of the DOJ by Drumpf and his stooges.
The good and decent Americans on these juries are essentially telling Drumpf and Bondi to go fuck themselves and quite frankly, it needs to happen more often.
