As a lot of us warned, Pete Hegseth was plucked from his day-drunk, Fox "news" weekend talk show co-host obscurity for this very purpose - to be the compliant, weak-willed, morally destitute yes man who will do the bidding of a dictator wannabe when the order comes from that dictator wannabe to turn the US military against this country's own citizenry.

There is nothing whatsoever resembling an "insurrection" taking place in the state of Minnesota, or the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
99% of the open street violence taking place in Minneapolis this past week has been instigated by a bunch of roid-raging, masked paramilitary thugs hired off the street (many January 6th felons purportedly) by Kristi Noem. Noem hired these masked gangsters to essentially be a small mercenary army that can be dispatched (2000+ of them right now in Minneapolis alone) to any American city that Drumpf's corrupt administration wishes, to bully and mistreat the citizenry of those communities as brutally as they want without repercussion, knowing full well that they have the protection of Drumpf and his corrupt DOJ.
And now Mad King DonOld wants to uproot two battalions of regular Army, armed infantry soldiers from a base in Alaska, fly them all the way to Minneapolis, Minnesota . . . and to do what exactly?
By law these troops are prohibited from engaging in ANY form of civilian policing. That would be in violation of the 'Posse Comitatus Act' law. But then again, when has this corrupt, criminal administration and it's convicted felon leader ever given a shit about American laws, right?
No, what Drumpf is doing here is committing yet another impeachable offense by abusing his powers of office to punish a US state, it's largest metropolitan area and city, and it's citizenry because that state's governor, a Democrat, had the temerity to accept the Vice Presidential running mate offer of Kamala Harris, Drumpf's hated 'enemy,' and say some unkind, albeit truthful things about poor, pitiful DonOld in public that hurt little Donny's feelings.
Also add to the fact that wise Minnesota voters have twice REJECTED diaper-shitter Donny in both of his Russia-tainted presidential election "wins," and you can see why the vengeful, wretched old mobster would want his pound of flesh from Minnesotans.
Sending two full battalions of armed combat solders all the way from Alaska to a major American city to be bodyguard escorts for ICE thugs is a big, ridiculous, tax-payer funded boondoggle display of autocratic authoritarianism folks.
These troops will end up just like the troops that he (per federal courts) ILLEGALLY dispatched to Washington D.C. -- cynically employed pawns used to intimidate the public.
Most of these specially trained combat soldiers will wind up just as the troops in D.C. and Chicago found themselves, standing around with their Minnesota frozen thumbs up their asses wondering why the fuck they are there.
In Minneapolis, they will be forced to do menial labor tasks like shoveling snow from the sidewalks at ICE facilities, running errands and getting lunch for the ICE goons, and washing the Minnesota winter muck and grime off of ICE Field Marshall Greg Bovino's motorcade of SUV's.
Wake up and smell the authoritarian dictatorship coffee before it's too late folks, because that is what an order to dispatch two armed battalions of regular Army infantry troops in to a major American city for no good reason smells like, and also what a budding banana republic dictatorship looks like.
Oh, and lastly - RELEASE THE FUCKING EPSTEIN FILES DONOLD!
