I know this is going to sound very harsh and perhaps even cruel to some, but I seriously hope that when Drumpf's tariff-rigged economy craters, as it inevitably will, that it utterly ravages the economic security of the MAGA faithful.
I have become convinced that the only thing that will break Drumpf's cult grip on the simple, deluded minds of his supporters would be them being forced to reckon with their own utter economic devastation.
When the Ma and Pa MAGAs become victims of Drumpf's destructive policies and find their economic lives upended and in tatters, perhaps then they will see the light about their child raping, Putin-fellating orange savior.
Don't get me wrong, I don't really expect the hardcore MAGA voters to revolt against Drumpf even if he destroys the economy and puts them in the poorhouse. Cultists are cultists and there isn't much you can do about people who have immersed themselves in a world of self-deceit and foolish hero worship.
