The ruling from U.S. District Court Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump appointee, followed a three-day trial last week in which both sides argued over whether protests at the city’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building met the conditions for using the military domestically under federal law.
The administration said the troops were needed to protect federal personnel and property in a city that Trump described as “war ravaged” with “fires all over the place.”
In a 106-page opinion, Immergut found that even though the president is entitled to “great deference” in his decision on whether to call up the Guard, he did not have a legal basis for doing so because he did not establish that there was a rebellion or danger of rebellion, or that he was unable to enforce the law with regular forces."
Drumpf and his apparatchiks were knowingly lying when they claimed the city of Portland was being "burned down" by antifa marauders.
They lied when they claimed peaceful protesters have committed mass acts of violence against ICE personnel and facilities.
They have lied in courts in multiple venues about the violent and unlawful tactics employed by their own masked ICE/CBP roundup goons as they hunt down their human prey in communities across the country.
They have lied about ALL of their lame-ass justifications for sending armed US military troops into American cities to intimidate their citizenry.
Right now Dicktator Don is only sending troops in humvees into US cities. What happens when he starts sending them in in tanks and Black Hawks?

I would be remiss if neglected to note that the Holy Hand Grenade of all those lies is currently being held hostage, along with the American people's government by Drumpf and MAGA Republicans who refuse to reconvene Congress, re-open the US Government, and end this war on our economy.
And at long last, swear in Arizona Democratic Rep. Adelita Grijalva who represents the tie-breaking vote in favor of releasing the Epstein files to the American people.
By the way - Grijalva won her special congressional election nearly two months ago by a 40% margin of victory and represents 800,000 Arizona constituents who are currently without representation in Washington. That in itself is a fucking travesty that hasn't gotten enough attention.
So enough of this bullshit. Release the goddamn Epstein files. Lets once and for all merciful eternity get this whole Jeffrey Epstein pedo, child sex ring shit-show dirty laundry aired out in public and dealt with accordingly like responsible and moral adults, mkay?
