More confirmation of that which has been obvious for quite some time:

Podcaster Matt Binder posted screenshots showing that Charlie’s Voice Rising, a popular Charlie Kirk fan account, is based in Eastern Europe (non-EU).
One popular influencer wrote "wait this is crazy" along with a screenshot showing that Defiant Ls, a MAGA account that has 1.6 million followers, is from Japan."
So what happened was, Elmo's shithole nazi playground 'X' began publishing the country of origin of all 'X' accounts over this past weekend. And lo and behold, what did it reveal? That around 70% of the accounts promoting a pro-Drumpf, pro-MAGA messaging were based in foreign countries, including Russia.
This is why I personally left Twitter, now 'X' after nine years of posting there. Elmo opened the floodgates to right-wing neo-nazis, racists, propagandists, bitcoin and crypto hustlers, scummy porn-girl accounts, shady advertisers, and of course malignant foreign influence bots and psy-ops accounts. And as soon as he did that, the place became the shithole "social" media site it is now. It made me feel dirty to post there, and while I stuck it out for awhile after Elmo took over it got so intolerably bad that it just wasn't worth being on the platform any more.
Facebook (meta) is just a bad. I dumped my accounts from that MAGA and bot-infested zoo as well. Go read about how Zuckerterd has banked millions by knowingly allowing scam artists and scumbag advertisers to run rampant on his platform.
So yeah - fuck these gazillionaire tech-bros who own these "social" media platforms - every one of them.
Seriously (mini-harangue coming up) -- what exactly are the Zuckerbergs and the Musks of this world contributing to society and the human condition with their "social" media platforms around the world? What are they accomplishing by amassing great wealth at the expense of humanity? I am simply failing to see any net-benefit to either society or the human condition by the existence of "social" media.
These tech-bro guys like Elmo and his Epstein files co-star Peter Thiel don't actually "build" anything that helps humanity advance to a higher earth-bound level, and no Muskrat's weekend rocketry hobby, and his flimsy e-cars don't count. Until that little ratfucking goose-stepper builds something that actually benefits instead of shits on the human condition, I am not impressed by a goddamn thing he has done with his money.
"Social media" as designed, promoted, and operated by Elmo, Zuckerterd, and other tech bros has been an abject failure. It's legacy will be a dark stain on the history of the human condition.
Drumpf hired MUSK to create DOGE to essentially shit on the American government and any program or agency that benefited average Americans.
Thiel is now working with ICE on facial recognition technology that they will use to arrest and deport anyone's ass they want to some third-world, shithole country and life in a torture prison.
It's interesting to note that both Musk and Thiel are sucking hard on the US taxpayer teat,wallowing in taxpayer-funded government and military contracts wealth. It is even more interesting to note it was recently revealed that both of their names are also in the Epstein files along with Drumpf's name. That's just a mere coinky-dink, right?
And lest he be forgotten for not having (yet) to be outed as an Epstein files alumni, Zuckerterd is being sued up the wazoo in Europe for his shady business practices.
All I'm saying here is social media in the US sucks ass. There is a reason that other democratic nations like Australia and countries in the European Union are either suing these guy for recklessly operating their "social" media platforms in their nations like they do in the US, or are making legislative and legal moves to regulate their operations more strictly.
The same needs to occur here in America. Failing to regulate these swill-peddlers will only ensure that these "social" media sites slide even further into being nothing more than anti-social and anti-democratic proselytizing feedback loops that exist primarily to peddle a certain corrupt political movement's propaganda (starts with an 'M') and stoke further (January 6, 2021) unrest in the populace.
