Drumpf hired MAGA DEI toady Karoline Leavitt to be the public-facing spokesperson (aka Liar) for him and his corrupt, incompetent administration. It's a dirty job, one which Leavitt openly pined for - which speaks volumes about her character.
That in and of itself is an utter travesty, but opening her ignorant pie-hole on a subject that I am certain she is totally bimbo-blonde clueless about, the Uniform Code of Military Justice of the United States Armed Forces, and making false statements to the public on a serious UCMJ matter which she is clearly illiterate about is a tragedy:

Leavitt knows very well that Mark Kelly and other Democrats CLEARLY advised military personnel that that it was their duty to not carry out CLEARLY ILLEGAL orders.
That she would make such a stunningly wrong statement about a core tenet of military code of conduct training reflects one of two realities. She is either sadly misinformed, meaning she sucks at her job and should be fired, or she is deliberately misleading gullible Americans who don't know any better.
The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) is pretty clear about a soldier's duty to not only disobey illegal orders but to report that illegal order to higher ups in the chain of command.
An order to murder non-threatening, unarmed civilians would be an illegal order.
An order to loot and rape would be an illegal order.
An order to indiscriminately destroy civilian infrastructure, or civilian housing would be an illegal order.
Point is, there is a lot of illegal shit that a soldier could be ordered to do that is expressly prohibited by the Uniform Code of Military Justice. It is the duty of the soldier to disobey that once again - clearly illegal - order and report it up the chain of command immediately for confirmation.
There is absolutely everything right and nothing wrong with ANYONE reminding American men and women in uniform about their oaths of duty and the laws of the UCMJ which they are sworn to abide by.
If Drumpf and his henchmen are going to criminalize the act of reminding of our soldiers of their UCMJ duties - then we are at a point much further along in that filthy old mobster's race toward a more constricting authoritarian coup than anyone realizes.
