Anyone who has paid attention to the political "career" arc of MAGA Mike Johnson knows quite well that the guy has his own closet full of skeletons that he will have no choice but to reckon with at some future date.
That Johnson would condone ICE goons shooting a praying pastor in the head with pepper-ball rounds speaks beyond volumes about the frighteningly inferior moral values of MAGA Mike and those who side with him.
I say frighteningly inferior because they are the very same type of moral values that the German public possessed nearly a century ago when they became enamored of a slick talking, bamboozling little Bohemian Corporal who promised them a thousand years of German homeland glory if they would just go along with their plans to remove all of the 'undesirables' from their society and be ruled by a dictator.

"CHICAGO — Let it be known far and wide that Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, who has called himself “a Bible-believing Christian,” has no problem whatsoever with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents shooting a pastor in the noggin with pepper balls.
The man who, when asked to describe his worldview, once said “go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it,” also has zero problem with journalists being violently arrested by federal agents.
Is there an updated version of the Bible that I missed? Because I don’t recall anything in my Catholic upbringing that was pro-priest-popping or supportive of masked agents of the government slamming journalists to the ground."
I wonder. What Would Jesus Do?
MAGA Mike says Jesus would be well within his rights to shoot a non-threatening, praying pastor in the head for no reason at all.
I have to say, that is a very different Jesus than the one I learned about in Sunday school and King James ver. bible studies in my youth.
I have zero doubt that Jesus would ever opt to shoot an unsuspecting, praying fellow Christian in the head with pepper balls for any reason whatsoever.
I am also pretty damn certain that if Jesus were to return to earth today and see what American evangelicals have done with his name and in his name, and how Republicans have misused his name to advance un-Christian agendas that are completely antithetical to his core teachings, he would be hard pressed not to turn them all into pillars of salt.
