It's looking more and more like the Republican party has every intention of misusing and abusing their control of the House (again) to smear Democrats with the Jeffrey Epstein files mess while exonerating the individual who had formed a 15-year best friend relationship with the sex-trafficing child rapist and his child rapist girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.
It's not just telling that MAGA Republicans in the MAGA Monkey House are subpoenaing primarily Democrats and not Drumpf who is more at the center of that scandal than any other person on this planet. In fact, it screams banana republic coverup.
As it was with the years-long Hunter Biden investigations and the phony Biden impeachment hearings, Republicans are not interested in finding out the truth about Epstein's crimes insomuch as they are in protecting the seeming large numbers of pedophiles and sex criminals who populate their own party and political movement starting with the orange, child raping piece of shit at the top who is illegally squatting in the American people's White House.

"The Republican-led House on Tuesday issued subpoenas to the Justice Department and high-ranking officials for files related to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. But there was one notable name missing from the list of subpoenas: President Donald Trump.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer issued 11 subpoenas in total, including some to prominent politicians from Republican and Democratic administrations: Bill and Hillary Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey, multiple former attorneys general including Merrick Garland and William Barr, and former special counsel Robert Mueller, according to The Washington Post.
But Trump himself is notably absent from that list."
As I was putting this post together I ran across this story:

"The Republican president of Utah's Senate managed to change consent laws after a relative was accused of raping a 13-year-old.
Newsweek reported a Salt Lake City Tribune piece that Senate President J. Stuart Adams suggested that the Utah Legislature change the law that would change the child rape laws.
"Previously, as adults, 18-year-old high school students who had sex with a 13-year-old could face a charge of child rape, a first-degree felony," said the Tribune. "A conviction on that charge generally requires registration as a sex offender, while a conviction on the newly created lesser charge does not.""
Doesn't anyone else find it creepy and strange that Republicans spend so much of their taxpayer-funded governing activity defending the act of sex with children?
Apparently a sizable number of American voters don't mind that they are card-carrying members of a political party headed up by a suspected child rapist and controlled by child-rape apologists.
