If Grandma Needs Medicaid, Make Her to Go Pick Lettuce For It

The reason why Republicans passed Drumpf's "Big Beautiful Bill" in the middle of the night on a Friday night was because they know just how fundamentally evil it is and the less light shone on it, the better.

Drumpf's eunuchs in the House and Senate themselves crafted the murder budget bill along with help from the 'Project 2025' monsters.  One of the sad realities of this execrable bill is that it decimates Medicaid and to an extent Medicare much more than previously revealed.  

There is going to be a cascading (downhill) impact to the country from this gratuitously cruel, un-Christian legislation, and rural Americans WILL NOT be spared the savagery of the right's long-time wet dream efforts to defund and eliminate a program that helps tens of millions of poorer American, most whom already work, have access to affordable medical care.

And that is why this idea is so colossally fucking stupid that it defies any rational explanation:

Approximately 80 million Americans are enrolled in Medicaid across all 50 US states. 

65% of Medicaid enrollees are already working.  45% work full time, 20% part time.   The remaining third are divided between children, the disabled, full-time caregivers, and elderly Americans.

Only 8% of Medicaid recipients are NOT working due to retirement, inability to find work, or some other contributing factor.

There are approximately 2.5 million farm workers (most seasonal) in the US.  A little more than a million of them are undocumented. 

So lets game out this insidious piece of MAGA assholery shall we?  If only 8% of Medicaid recipients are in non-working status, that equates to around 6 million Americans.  And if of those 6 million, the majority are already retired, reside in a state and area where the jobs economy is substandard (meaning no work available), then where exactly does this MAGA apparatchik think they are going to find more than a million "able-bodied" people to do the tedious, backbreaking work of agricultural field work?

This is who MAGA is folks.  They are mostly uncaring, unthinking, selfishly cruel assholes who wouldn't blink an eye at the prospect of throwing their own mothers off of Medicaid if it meant they would get the opportunity to crow about "owning the libs."

MAGA is a cancer on this nation.  It's long past time to irradiate this metastasizing disease and eliminate it from our public society and our lives.
