You really and went and did it Ma and Pa MAGA.  You let the greasy old con man convince you of his worthiness of return to the US White House EVEN AFTER his incitement to insurrection and the two well-earned impeachments. EVEN AFTER the 34 felony convictions, EVEN AFTER the court judgment finding him technically guilty of rape.  EVEN AFTER multiple other indictments.  EVEN AFTER he said he would run the country as a dictator if re-elected.  EVEN AFTER he took Musk's $300 million in filthy campaign cash.

And today he showed you all what you got in return for your willful ignorance and idolatry.  DonOld held an hour+ press conference today and in the span of that hour or so managed to state his intentions to unilaterally rename The Gulf of Mexico to 'The Gulf of America.' He also once again talked about a unilateral US invasion and occupation of the sovereign nations of Greenland and Panama.

Not content with that idiocy, the incoherent, syphilis-ravaged baboon also ranted about Hezbollah having been involved with his own January 6th attack on the US Capitol, probably to deflect attention away from his New York criminal court sentencing this Friday and the potential release of Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigative report.  The demented old dotard also got to bloviating about windmills again, but thank God we didn't hear about the sharks and batteries.  And to top it off he called MAGA's cherished America a "horrible place" to be (if so, why the fuck did he want to be POTUS so desperately once more?).

We have a literal barking-mad buffoon running our country and he has surrounded himself with a cabal of skeevy billionaires, Christian nationalist end-timers, Putin apologists, and fellow hucksters and con artists.  And if that isn't bad enough, he is worshiped by a large swath of Americans who seem to have gleefully abandoned any pretext to being moral or upstanding citizens of our nation, much less people whose minds are firmly grounded in cognitive reality.

I am not seeing any evidence on the horizon that having this supremely unqualified charlatan and compromised felon leading our nation for the next four years ends well for any of us.
