The Gadfly cannot decide which is more hilarious - that some NASCAR marketing genius was actually of the belief that a musical group billing itself as "America's Most Patriotic Rock Band" actually might have some talent in the area of Rock n' Roll, much less just basic music, or the fact that any band feels so insecure in their own talent that they have to laughably advertise themselves as "America's Most Patriotic Rock Band."
Either way it made for a spectacle of the cringeworthy sort at the singing of the NASCAR event's national anthem.
Watch the whole video, when the camera pans the crowd, check out some of the tortured faces of the people having to listen to their precious national anthem being mangled so horrifyingly bad -- fucking priceless:
