The Gadfly is posting about this not because some new, mind-numbingly idiotic revelation has been belched forth from the bottomless bowels of Rupert Murdoch's traveling freak show Fox "News." That is an everyday occurrence.
No - the interesting part of this soul crushing stupidity is that Fox is and has been grooming former corporate attorney Megyn Kelly to be their star attraction for some time now, and they have been aggressively pimping her as someone whom they can hold up for all of the world to see, and say (with tongue firmly planted in cheek), "you see, we have intellectual talent too!"
Which of course simply underscores The Gadfly's longtime observation that if Megyn Kelly (and watch the Santa Claus idiocy once again for good measure) is Fox's intellectual heavyweight, just imagine if you can just how abominably imbecilic the rest of their on-air "talent" is.
The Gadfly is unequivocally convinced that if there is a hell, Beelzebub has special suites reserved at the Hades Resort & Casino for Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes for eternity, fully comped and with an unlimited line of house credit at the Russian Roulette tables.
